Well maybe not true terrorism but at least threats thats really close to it. War against Iraq upon denial of inspection? Bush's "Either you're with us or against us" statement? I am sure there are a lot other examples. Are we scaring everyone else just like Osama? What do you think?

i think there should have been a rather large bay of iraq a long time ago. any attack by the us on iraq is not unprovoked.

Yes and no. Yes, an attack would be provoked, but North Korea provoked the US a whole lot more the past several weeks/months, and the administration does nothing to stop them. They even have nukes, have threatened to use them against US allies in east Asia, such as Japan, and nothing. Why? Cause they don't have oil. The US Govt. wants to take out Iraq because it's currently in the top 5 of all oil producing nations, and it has the potential to pump out even more than Saudi Arabia (the world's current number one exporter). The whole weapons thing is just an excuse to kill Hussein and set up a puppet Government that will sell oil to the US at or below cost.

what exactly does america the right to threaten every country that has a diffrent view than america?

and don't say to protect the people if that were true then iraq could possibly attack america to protect its people

to me it seems like a matter of time before some of the things that take place in george orwells 1984 come true

the only thing thats on my mind is will britian join eurasia or oceania

(in 1984 the uk was called airstrip one and the closest to the fighting that is on going)

Irrelevent really, but has anyone noticed that all of Bush's speeches contain excerpts from Arthur Miller's works? That "with us or against us " statement was uttered in Act III of "the Crucible"

I would have to say yes. America is launching an agressive campeign against anyone that doesnt like us or seeks to do harm to us. However, this is really nothing new we did this during vietnam the cold war and almost any other military campeign. This is the way we act to neutralize a threat and it has worked in the past. The truth of the matter is that any country that has ever been im power has used terrorism (in the sense that they drive fear into the mass populous) it is a tool that comes with power and no matter what anyone says it is nessasary to use or you will live to see your downfall. America is using fear and its influence to push others around this is a definate fact but what many people have yet to see is that it is not simply an overbloated ego. But infact a means of protecting our way of life. Unfortunatly as history tells us with any struggle to protect your way of life there will be conflict and someone elses way of life will ether be sacrifised of will dominate the current. Whether the fact that we overstep out bounds will lead to any major sanctions on our part is for the fates to decide.
