Terrorist bombings

Something I never really got about suicide bombings, maybe it's just because I'm a 13 year old kid without a complete brain yet lol.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the majority of the suicide bombers are muslim, and in that religion you are taught that every life is sacred and must be held with the highest regard. Then, Allah 'changes his mind' and specifically tells you to strap yourself with C4 and blow yourself up, killing several people with you. Who is this new God? Do the men get visions from God, telling them to do these terrible acts of terrorism? Or are they just using God as an excuse to get their words out to the public, some of which have just been blown up?

Am I missing something here?

The funny this is no-one speaks to god. If we could he'd tell us the same answer to the same question, unless of course he'd wanna fuck with us. But anyway..

People believe that men know what god wants/says. And they wont question it. Why? You'd have to ask that individual person. In my personal experience, they cannot find happiness in their lives or cannot get over comething terrible that has happened but dont want to open up to friends and family.

Yeah, you're right (the guy above me). In general, the Quran is a peaceful document, as are most Muslims, Jews and Christians. However, it seems that there is an infinately larger percentage of Muslims blowing themselves up for God (Allah, Jesus, whatever.) than Jews or Christians.

People do suicide bombings for their own conscience. They do this sacrifice for what they belive in, that the US should move out of the Middle East.

Basically the hardest part to work on is the not getting blown up.

But I mean, why don't the terrorists blow up military installations? That would actually be impressive, to penetrate a high security facility instead of picking on the weak and defenceless.

For someone who knows how to handle explosives they're pretty stupid lol.

Which, in return, makes others (like the States) countries believe that Islamic faith is a terrorist and violent one.

Whether or not it's true, I don't know, but it isn't helping. If the arab world really cared about their image, they would be helping the world get rid of these 'believers' to save their image.

Good point. You never see Arab or Islamic religious leaders condemning the acts of these terrorist attacks.

Actually, they do condemn the acts, at least publically. Arafat, for example, used to complain about suicide bombings, though he supported and funded them.

Yes, I am sure the thousands of innocent people you have dropped 500 lbs bombs on feel that you are the good guys. The number of civilians you have killed in the War on Terror is 10 times the number of people killed in 9-11 (some of whom wer elegitamate military targets).
