He's a good as an artist and all his movies from 2000 and before were good. He lost a lot of my respect when he released "R We There Yet?" but regained it when I listened to "Laugh Now, Cry Later".

Friday is the only movie I'll ever watch with him in it (the Friday sequels were bad) besides Boyz n the Hood which isn't fair because it's John Singleton's movie and John Singleton is a good director.
