Modern humans didn't evolve directly from modern apes, so that isn't going to happen. Clearly, though, earlier humans were closer to apes than we are. You know that thing, uh... what's it called... a neanderthal?

If you actually do the research, you'll find that the evidence supporting evolution is overwhelming. Even if there is a "missing link," that's to be expected. Not every fucking species is going to be perfectly preserved. You cannot seriously think, at this point, that natural selection and evolution never happen. Even knowing that there's supposedly some sort of "link" missing in our evolution, it's obvious that humans did evolve from earlier creatures that were significantly different from us.
Does this mean that God didn't create us? Not at all. It simply means that the first humans were not exactly the same as we are. I don't see why religious people get so worked up over this. It's not a big deal.
