which is better brass knuckels or a bat? my 11 year old brother says bat the other one says brass knuckels

I got hit with a wooden bat when i was 17, my back has never been the sane since, Everyday i have back pain.

I personally used to use brass knuckles, but obviously, the bat has more range and you don’t need to get so close or be as strong to cause damage. To me, I like the brass cause its concealable and is better way to attack someone. These days i stick with the nunchucku because they have the range and momentum of a bat but are still easy to conceal, and nobody ever expects them. Plus when you do have them, people assume you know how to use them.

Bat is a one hit kill. And yes I mean kill.

Brass knuckles are faster, so as long as you get out of the bats way you're sorted.

I'd choose speed over strength anyday, but I'm faster than I am strong. It's all down to personal prefferance.
If you have the guile to get outta the way, take the knuckles.
If you're strong enough to recover from a miss and take the other guy out before you get laid into, take the bat.

The bat gives for more range and greater versatility. However, brass knuckles are just bad ass. I'd say bat, but I don't mind the brass knuckles.

Bat : Better for range, and if you don't really want to get damaged. Can be held and used against you

Knuckles : These give you a little rough feed back but can't be used against you

Bat causes more damage but i'd go with the knuckles

Bat would cause way more damage but then again is easily manipulated. For example you could grab the bat twist out there hands, as for the knuckles I doubt someone can stop them. If you are skilled knuckles are the way to go. If you are a weak unskilled 1 hit kill kind of guy go for the bat.

You don't need to be a street fighter to know if big wooden bat give more hurties than metal bobs on knuckles.

That was a typo that would have been a spelling mistake anyway. I meant to type "akrylic".

I'll compare the two.

The bat commands respect, it is always visible and longer. But obviously concielability is in many situations a very good thing. Making the brass knuckles unsuspected and infact you could have your enemy unaware that you're going to attack until the very instance when you swing the punch.

Now about damage. The bat will always do more damage than the knuckles, no matter where you hit. And is also much better than the knucles for certain areas of the body. For example, trying to punch your opponent in the shin with the knuckles would be extremely foolish. but one hit to the shin with a bat is not only easily accomplisiable, but can also be temporarily crippling. Almost definately will send the victim to the ground.

The last thing I'm going to talk about is how easy it can be for your opponent to take your weapon and use it against you. Now this one should be pretty easy to figure out. When you swing your bat, you cannot swing it faster than a punch. Which means that your opponent could grab the bat and twist it out of your hands. While brass knuckles would be very hard to get out of the users hands.

Now this may actually be better for the bat. Becasue if you throw a punch, and he gets a hold of your fist, you're in some deep shit. While if they take your bat at least you can attempt to run away. But in either situation it would be very bad. That said you must remember to strike quickly and get your stuff out of the danger zone.

Personnally I think that the bat is slight more badass/kick ass than brass knuckles.

But in my proffesional opinion (lol) a handgun would be the best possible option in a wide range of scenarios. Range, concielabitly, killing power. Yep pistol wins.\

Well, basically I cut out the shape shown below four times, stuck all of the cut outs together and then drilled holes for the fingers. Then I just sanded and polished the sides so it looked like on piece of plastic.

I can do more damage with knuckles than a bat because im a good puncher. But if you hit somone on the head with a bad it might give them concussion...good at that moment but bad in the long run. Whereas with knuckles you can rap them on the temple and knock them out so they get pissed of by hobos during the night. No lasting damage no law suit.
