Of course not, but for the first time and done to make a point, I'd say it's quite an outstanding sample of how things SHOULD be, but aren't. I'd liken this thread to how Shrapnel used a 800 page spam thread to point out that there was a need for moderators on the site, only this won't have as much of a lasting effect because there's no way you can ever change completely people's tendency to not read a thread before commenting.

I read your post. I don't need to jump through any hoops in terms of what I post to say so, and I might add Britkid did so quite cleverly. I see your point, and I like what I see (although I wanted to cry and vomit while I was seeing it... >:-( ).

Yet, I don't get half of what you're saying because it takes so much concentration to read writing in that form it doesn't lead much room for comprehension :(.

I've got to agree with you. Nobody is going to read a long winded post on Algeria, or Carrots, or even Haloween...

But I can say its frustrating if I put togeather a well founded argument and have support and then everyone completly ignores me. I'm not surprised in anyway, just a bit dissapointing. I appreciate humor and one liners are a good way to accent something everynow and then. Just like a person might use a short sentance or a single word for emphasis in writing. I can't say that if all the people who posted here were intelligent and at least used paragraphs that I wouldn't want to post here anymore or that it would be dry. Some of my favorite topics are constructed just that way, long. Usually only the people who care post in them. This one will get posts simpley because of your format, but who besides me has actually read it... probably only a few, maybe more than would have if you had made it normally.

I read that entire thing, I would come up with an intelligent response.

But my eyes are burning from the inside out now.
I usually don't read very long paragraphs if it's on something I really could care less about, like the new kindom hearts game or what color your penis is, etc. Otherwise if it's something i'm interested in I reply with a lot of thought, if I can't think of anything to say I still try to anyways.

well... now I've read the rest of the topic. And I'm going to side against wade for once. This was obviously a one time deal made to emphasize a point. As for the topic about reading every post in a topic, maybe I'll take that under my belt soon. We'll see.
