Help with photoshop 2006-01-14 03:51:16 Reply

I was wondering if eny one could walk me threw on how to render a image? I used to just use the wand. But if i wanna render a big image it is all choppy. Eny ideas? I just wanna make the image transparnt thats all thanks.

sorry for double post. Not only that it dosnt make it straight.. well Its way to straight. it owuld mess the image up.

then fix up the little bits it stuff up with free hand lasso.

The more short and numerous you make your selections the smoother the edge will be. Keep the long selections for generally straight edges and take your time with corners and such.

The other option (which is usually a bit easier to do, if not possibly less acurate) is quick masking. Tuts for both here and here.

u have to take time over it, and swite to reverse view so you can rub out and paint on selectiopns to get it perfect, then make a 2 pix border and feather by like 3 then deletre and ull get a smothe edge, them select the images layer and change opacity

Bleh! I didn't know of such a tool since it doesn't exist with the program I'm more familar with (Fireworks). Now that I've been informed of this nifty little trick myself, I must try it.

Yeah, I tried it out on a simple picture, and I still prefer the old clicky-clicky polygon.

I'm lazy, I just use the old magic wand and eraser. I should clicky-clicky one day though.

You must be doing something wrong, then. Polygonal lasso is one of the most useful tools when working with multiple source images.

Use the magic wand, and then use the history tool to undelete anything u need...
