Do you have cPanel or phpMyAdmin. If you do, either cPanel has Fantastico, if ure hosting has it, that automatically installs phpBB or use phpMyAdmin and create a NEW DB and phpBB should give yoiu all the instructions on the install menu.

Fantastico isn't included by default with cPanel, nor is phpmyadmin but most hosts offer them.

Yeah, that's true! Even if you don't have cPanel, a host might offer phpmyadmin (I wish mine would just to make it easier on me - I don't even have cPanel anymore, not a biggie).

phpMyAdmin should only take a few minutes to set up, but it is a lot easier when it's included with the control panel.
