Worst Poster:
Well, this was certainly no contest. Has this user ever posted anything coherant? To go through thier post history to try and find out would give you instant eye cancer, so the world will probably never know. Some people have debated whether or not this is an actual person, as opposed to some joke account. That's how bad it is. Several reliable sources have confirmed this user's reality. This taste of the bottom rung of the human thought process is either the most devoted joker ever, or the product of a failed education system. For accumulating 1,888 charges of cruelty against this forum
fukmehardnpullmyhair will be forced to trade her keyboard for a dictionary. The keyboard will be shot.
Best Mod:
After two checks, we have another tie. One is a former winner of this award, the other a model of swell posting and BBS peacekeeping. Both are well deserving of this award. Without these two, I would feel a hole in the BBS. A sizable one. Both know the BBS like the back of their hand. If this BBS is going to prosper, we're going to need them to stick around. Or at least have users of their like follow in their footsteps. There's about 10,000 characters I could use to continue all the due praise, but I'll just let the awards do the talking. For spewing out 540 and 1480 tonnes (respectively) of helpful posts
Maus and Newgrundling are to recieve new, gold plated bansticks.
Worst Mod:
Oh Jesus. The latest drama-fest caused by moddings and like... wow. I'm a little frightened about what's going on in the mod lounge, myself. Anyway, silliness aside, we have to turn to the worst of the so-called best. The winner for this category came as no real surprise to me, what with all the recent events. No need to rehash the old argument by stating any reasons, right? For kicking the NG drama up 528 notches
Sarai will spend six days chained to fukmehardnpullmyhair.
Best Noob:
Noobs, noobs, noobs. If every noob was like this user, the BBS would revoloutionize the world. Just the sheer amount of them multiplied by this poster's sense of wit and intellect... oh, it's a fantasy unworthy of my feeble brain. Joining us in the summer of '05 and delighting users new and old for almost 2000 posts now, this user, if they stick around, is going to rise high in the e-popularity ranks. In fact, they're pretty high up there now. For causing 1476 sighs of relief
protege-moi will be cloned, and then the clone will train all newcomers from this point on.
Best Topic Starter:
The lifeblood of the forum, yes. We're all able to make topics, it's just that some are better than others. A lot better. This user delights us mainly with rich stories filled with sexually charged and controversial material. He's been here for ages and knows what we like, how we like it, and where to put it. Often reaching three or more pages and increasing his fanbase with every story, I hope to see a novel on the shelves by this user in the future. For inspiring 1183 users to have sex with an animal
Earfetish's topics will now be a mandatory read before you're allowed to post for the first time.
Best Male User:
Through a subtley witty attitude and an amazing eye for art, this recognition is long overdue. Beating out some of the most e-popular users here, I can't remember a single person ever badmouthing this guy. It seems perfectly fitting that he was modded today as well. A double whammy, on Friday the 13th. He's been here for quite some time, too. I can't see how this guy will fail us when it comes to modship. For having an e-penis 2380 inches long
BadReligionSkater will have to photoshop the aforementioned penis on himself.
Best Female User:
Last, but not least by a long stretch, it is time for the ladies. And I might say: it wasn't even close. She's stuck with us for ages, she's won our hearts, she's modded with efficiency and good humour. Bashing through a constant stream of negativity coming from all directions without so much as spilling her drink, she's proven her worth on these boards again and again and again. For leaving a mark on the BBS that will not wash away for at least 810 years
Maus will have 12 blocks of solid gold carved out in her image, and they will be placed on the apex of the world's 12 tallest moutains.
That's almost it. As you know, the thread awards were scrapped last year and this year. But there was one thread that can't not be mentioned. It was executed with such style and creativity. You know it: Best Thread of 2005 by Popular Choice = So are we still friends?
There you have it. The Best and Worst of '05.
Now get working on '06.

One more thing. The number at the end of each of the winner's little blurb wasn't random. I used a method to obtain them. So if you figure it out (as well as any small mistakes I may have made in getting them), you get like, 7,000,000 cool points. Also, 3 cool points per typo you can pick out. I did this without the benefit of spell checking.
Alright: Discuss!
