I think what they mean is that there should be a wiki-like site exclusively for Newgrounds. It's not an uncommon thing; Homestar Runner has its own, as do many multiplayer online games (Londinium and NationStates are the first that come to mind).
I personally think it could be a cool idea. I don't know if Tom & Crew would do it (they have a full plate already), but wikis are, by definition, a community effort. We could probably put up a pretty extensive information site. Having a single article on Wikipedia just doesn't do Newgrounds justice.

Heh, close enough, When I saw that I was like Pearl Harbor rip off. But the more that you know. And you thought PH was the 6th aswell or thought close enough.
BTW - I updated the history page AGAIN and massively expanded on 2003-2004. Go have a look!
Sweet, I'll check it out.

I definately think one of the most revolutioning things happening during 2005 was the emergence of sponsors for flash games like Games of Gondor (later Armor Games) and Crazy monkey games. There has been sponsors around for a long time but now every Tom and Dick and Harry can have and has had their game sponsored, and I think it's a great thing in many ways. Finally, you get paid for your hard work, instead of just the occasional nice review (among the abusive ones) from the 15 year olds you're doing your best to entertain. I would NOT be making games now if it weren't for the sponsorship money and this money I hope will help me out throught the end of my education.
What's sad about the sponsorship though is how it's all about the money now... And how it's not OK to put the NG logo on your games any longer because the sponsor might object. I have NG to thank for basically everything I've ever made in flash and I think it's sad I can no longer pay tribute like I'd want to.
But nevertheless, I think we have to embrace the sponsors despite the objections noe can make, because hey, they're putting food on the table for a generation of flash makers.

it will be good if you stay on top of it from now on and update 2006 as it happens as you have already started doing.

Stop making excuses, I saw "Little Less Conversation" and it wasn't particularly good. Quantity doesn't mean anything, 50 movies that would all have been blammed if they had been uploaded separately does not make a great flash.

Makes me think, the amount of stuff that happened in 2005, what does 2006 have installed for us?... hopefully just as good as the last year. Great update of the history page though very impressed!

Wow, what an awe inspiring story to read. You really are a flash legend my friend and I can only hope and wish we ever cross paths which is very unlikely. But I will do my damned hardest to make it a possibility, I will deffinately try to get to any type of public show you do over here in England.

I considered covering that. I feel like when it comes to stuff like that, I should probably have some additional pages that tell individual stories from the year.

Sweet, man i really enjoy reading stuff on that history page. I find it interesting that there is actually so much going on behind the scenes of my favourite website. I mean the voyages, parties and everything else. That Mod gather up looked pretty fun, what a nice way to meet new people. All i can say is keep bringing on the updates for the history page!
Oh, and by the way the new logo looks SWEET. It obviously has the same style but more updated you know. A bit more detail in the tank logo itself and in the Tank Driver made it seem more complete. The background looks more realistic too, many different shaped buildings and what not. Anyways nice work!
