A volcanic explosion will occur in multiple places of the ring of fire at once causing massive title waves, in turn causing the water level of the ocean to severly drop, then rise, overtaking all life...except the fishies.

Not true... there have been 1000 foot tsunamies during the Mesozoic era, somehow the dinosaurs weren't killed off as a result of that.
and for christs sake have some fun with it.

Here is an idea, how about you actually try and find out what will kill off humanity and then try and stop it. It's just an idea, but it might actually put a definition behind your pointless existence.
The underground volcano under the Yellowstone National Park will erupt. Magma will be flung 50 kilometres into the atmosphere. Within a thousand kilometers virtually all life will be killed by falling ash, lava flows and the sheer explosive force of the eruption. One thousand cubic kilometers of lava will pour out of the volcano, enough to coat the whole USA with a layer 5 inches thick. It would once again bring the bitter cold of Volcanic Winter to Planet Earth. All this will come true next tuesday.

Well considering the fact I hate humans and would rather die than to stay here with you all, I sure hope it comes true.
meh, you're human too, dumbshit. I thinksomething needs to happen we are destroying our world
''Some say the world will end in fire, others in ice...''
Since this is not a topic about how the world will end, that quote is a bit off topic :)
How the human race will die? I'm quite optimistic about that. I believe that the human race will survive until the end of the universe (sort of the reverse effect of Big Bang, is my theory), unless it'll become all Hitch Hikers Guide, and a group of Vogons will make the earth implode.
You give humans too much credit. What about all the over-population. We are getting close to 7 billion, and we haven't yet design anything nor would we since we don't have the resourced to make any space colonies. It's going to take trillions of dolars and hundreds of years or preparation to insure humanity can survive in outerspace as a community. And we tend to kill ourselves quite frequently, what if someone does something stupid or there is some sort faultiness in our space colonies design that cause it to plumit to the Earth. See what I mean? Humans are dead one way or another.

There's no real hurry. Though it would be quite nice if the president of either America or Russia, or any other country for that matter, would invest more money in space technology, you're right on that point.
It's going to take trillions of dolars and hundreds of years or preparation to insure humanity can survive in outerspace as a community.
That's not a very long time, and i'm sure the problems of overpopulation haven't become a far too serious issue at that point.
And we tend to kill ourselves quite frequently, what if someone does something stupid or there is some sort faultiness in our space colonies design that cause it to plumit to the Earth.
Though this is a very minimalistic chance that this would happen, you're right. It can happen. Though i'm pretty sure that a half millenia of studying and researching, humans will come up with an idea that will ensure that nothing all too serious can happen, or at least nothing worse than that the crew members of the colony will die. Nothing that would jepordise the very existance of earth.
See what I mean? Humans are dead one way or another.
Whatever that reason is, it's probably not going to be like in the movies.
I reckon there's likely to be a nuclear war some time in the next fifty years (probably as a result of overpopulation).
In geological times, fiftey years is nothing, so I reckon it's more likely than a meteor or an eruption.
Best thing is we can do nothing about it! Yay!
maybe someone should end the debate and create something to destroy the planet but tell us first thus answering our questions of how we will die
after we overpopulate the moon and it explodes, the remaining human eloy will get eaten by the morlocks.
RZZZZZZ
I guess a big fat asteroide will hit us. And we won't be saved by you, dear Uncle Sam, like in Armageddon or Deep Impact,
because the time where we realize that a gigantic asteroide will hit us is about
30 seconds
before it collides. Considering the fact that we are only able to watch 1% of the sky, and we can be hit from MANY directions, this is a very likely option.
Greez from Austria
Mars will collide with earth after the Russians accidently knock it out of its course. We then find out that those stupid aliens really did live on Mars. But then the stupid KKK and groups like that will start hating the aliens while tree huggin hippies are pretending to be one with the planet. The give us some technology but the race thing was really becoming a problem. So in time we become friends and mated with their women. Then our differences began to disappear. But then OMAR, the universial leader of the galaxy found out that the human race has tainted his holy race of Uma Thurmins aliens. He threatens to blow up the world but we develop a bomb called then Air Bomb. Its a cool bomb that reduces the air around where ever it was detonated from. And we sent it to OMAR as a present. He opened it and wham he suffocated to death. But what we didn't know is that he didn't breathe oxygen. So in short the World was blown up by OMAR but he has human blood in him because he was a child of the mixed breeding so can the human species ever die...? Muhahaha of course not! Because after that the human inside of OMAR was let loose upon the Uma Thurmians. And he breeded with all of the females and the alien genes were kicked out and it sent all of the aliens back to the prehistoric era when we were cavemen and stuff.....
heres an idea
our sun is about half way through with is supply of hydrogen. in about 4 billion years it will run out. the sun will collapse on its self. when it does the temp in the core will rise to the point where helium will fuse. helium fusion will occur and the sun will grow considering its making more energy. the sun will then grow so large it will swallow the inner planets thus we all die.
Its time to play games and jerk off. And Im all out of quarters.
Everyone thinks overpopulation is somehow gonna destroy the Earth (or at least a lot about it has been mentioned)........
Anyone ever watch Soylent Green?
And where's that idiot from the General board to say "Bush is liek, gnna KILL evry1!!!"

yeah a lot of these are the popular theories, sun exploding... comets... fire... ice..
i prefer to think in the more fun ways
the ebaum theory- due to recent attacks on his website and the involvement of the FBI people all over the world will start to be arrested. ytmnd will tell people to retaliate, not only online, but in reality as well, the world will become anarchy and we live in a dark age until the aliens who have been secretly watching us kill us all
the fat comedians theory.. (pat oswald?)- president bush wants to be the LAST president, sitting in the middle of a field with a hockey mask and a machete... then (the comedian) makes a bad transition into the biblical apocolypse with zombies and volcanoes spewing menstrual blood and avril lavigne reciting the script to... something
the stand theory- the government makes a new flu bug with a 99.9% communicablity and fatality rate. most people in the WHOLE WORLD die and only about... 2000 people are left alive... it then procedes to go on for another 1000 pages... good read though
hmm... i might think of more
Given our ability as a species to find a way to live in pretty much any environment on the planet I figure it'll have to be something sudden and extreme. So we're talking meteor impact or nuklear fall out or something like that. Or the less glamorous way I could see us going is simply global warming killing off what we need to live (trees, animals, etc) leaving us to wither away as a species.

Oh sure there isn't say that again 50 years from now when you are about be barbequed and eaten by your own children.
And even if they invest such a large amount of money, who knows if they'll actually be successful and for how long would they remain successful. Because unlike living on the Earth, these colonies must depend highly on their technological structures. And since we are human and thus make mistakes in 50% of everything we do, we are bound to kill ourselves.

400 years from now? Are you insane? We'd be dead just by the turn of the next century. We already have restrictions on over fishing and so forth already, take in a few decades and we'll be short on available food for ourselves. The only way we are going to survive is if the Annunaki decide to come to our rescue.

There is a huge chance of such an event happening at any time that space colony is being used. Humans make mistakes in 50% of everything we do, because we are stupid.
Half a 1000 years? Humans are all gonna die in just 100 years from now, if aliens don't come to our rescue that is.

Well have you ever seen cannibalism on such a grand scale in a movie? No... so stfu you quack.

That a too distant chance to even bother looking into, IMO.

If that's true, shouldn't the human race have been extinct by now? Besides, if makes space colonies are our only chance of survival, then in the end we would have to take a shot at building a colony. And as for the requirements of technological structures, i'm have no doubts that the people that are working on NASA will be working day and night to come up with a foolproof plan, and they sure as hell know more about that then you and i do.
It's going to take trillions of dolars and hundreds of years or preparation to insure humanity can survive in outerspace as a community.
You think that is a long time? I don't, especially not when it comes to our own evolutionary history. Just look backwards a hundred years. People thought space travelling only was fictional, something that you could read in books by authorswith crazy ideas. And look to our present time. We have thousands of satellites, a fully functional space station, and in about hundred years, we could actually build colonies, and thus, the problems of overrpopulation is a problem that's nearing its end.
Also, if America would spend less money in keeping the nation safe, a lot of the abundancy of money could very well be used in space technology.

The human race have existed for about five million years, maybe even more, and you say that in the next century, we'd be all dead? Surely, if any government saw a huge problem like this, they'd most likely alert as many as they could in order to prevent it to happen.
And who the hell is Annunaki?
There is a huge chance of such an event happening at any time that space colony is being used. Humans make mistakes in 50% of everything we do, because we are stupid.
Stupid compared to what?
Half a 1000 years? Humans are all gonna die in just 100 years from now, if aliens don't come to our rescue that is.
My above statement applies for here, too.
Well have you ever seen cannibalism on such a grand scale in a movie? No... so stfu you quack.
Aha! Your theory of the extinction of the human race would be caused by mass cannibalism? I'm sure that would kill off a lot of innocent lives, but wouldn't anywhere near put the human race to an end. Not in a society like this.
And asking me to shut the fuck up, is not a very gifted move (or for anyone else, for that matter).
I think a world war is coming cause of the depleted resources on earth..
and i bet , we will die all in the end... not a nice thought anyway...
maybe we just should keep our minds on good bussiness :)
that would be a great idea for leaders like Bush and Osama Bin Laden :
"Dont think about the future , its worse enough to mind the bussiness of this year."

What the hell are you talking about, you still going to be alive 50 years from now, just before you get eaten. LMAO!!

No you imbecile. Living on Earth and living in space are two different things. We have the security of the Earth to insure our survival. But being off the Earth would insure our demise. And besides if we live off the Earth, how are we going to get any food? Cloning? How do we know it'll be successful enough and not cause some sort of protein disease, like mad cow disease.
And how do you know, that colony won't suddenly be destroyed like the Columbus Space Shuttle? We don't have the best of skill when it comes to space base machinery, we oftenly need lots of luck and who knows if our luck will come through for us?
Day and Night? If you don't get any sleep within a week, you die. So no... they might take two or three shifts, but they would most certainly not be working more than six days in a week.
Foolproof plan? We are mortals, you fool! We ain't gods, there is no way we can come up with the perfect plan, no matter how hard we try.

Evolutionary history? What on Earth are you jabbering about? What history? Humans were a mistake in evolution, plain and simple. A fluke and that's all there is to it. Sure there are extraterrestrials, but none are as stupid minded as we are.
Umm yeah I can get what you are saying. But our success does have it's limits. And we are exceeding quite rapidly with our technology, perhaps more so than we should in my opinion.
We can build colonies yes, I didn't say we couldn't. What I said, before you are going to criticize me or "correct" me, was that our space colonies like with our satelites and our space shuttles are bound to be flawwed and with such a little flaw can be quite disasterous. Like what if we have a war in the colony or an uprising? Humans are not peaceful, we are bound to have a war if we are stuck living in space colonies and thus bound to kill ourselves.
Also, if America would spend less money in keeping the nation safe, a lot of the abundancy of money could very well be used in space technology.
Keeping the nation safe? You mean keeping the nation out of unnecessary confrontations.
And no it wouldn't be that much of a difference.
400 years from now? Are you insane? We'd be dead just by the turn of the next century. We already have restrictions on over fishing and so forth already, take in a few decades and we'll be short on available food for ourselves. The human species has existed for about 400 thousand years the human race has exist for 130,000 years.
Homo sapien is our species. And if you want to go by genus, well that was 2.2 million years. So you are still quite wrong.
And who the hell is Annunaki?
If you don't know then you shouldn't be arguing about this whole bit, because you don't know what you are talking about.
There is a huge chance of such an event happening at any time that space colony is being used. Humans make mistakes in 50% of everything we do, because we are stupid.Stupid compared to what?
Dude it's the factor of being human. Humans make mistakes in 50 percent of everything we do. Half of everything you said here was false, and probably the same with myself. It's called being human having a high chance of error.
Half a 1000 years? Humans are all gonna die in just 100 years from now, if aliens don't come to our rescue that is.My above statement applies for here, too.
Your stupidity as well. LOL!!!
Well have you ever seen cannibalism on such a grand scale in a movie? No... so stfu you quack.Aha! Your theory of the extinction of the human race would be caused by mass cannibalism? I'm sure that would kill off a lot of innocent lives, but wouldn't anywhere near put the human race to an end. Not in a society like this.
Right... got any evidence to support your claims? I think not. If we run out food, we will eat ourselves to extinctions, humans are far too stupid to be that virtuous. Stop thinking on what an Annunaki would do, you ain't an Annunaki, you are a mistake, just like me.
And asking me to shut the fuck up, is not a very gifted move (or for anyone else, for that matter).
Gifted move? Since when did I wanted to present or display a gifted move? I just want you to shut up if you got nothing intelligent to say.
Overpopulation will cause shortage of food, people will notice the U.S. with its obisetiy rate, and plame america. Americains will get pissed and some hyper president will attack australia.Australia will get pissed and start calling favors from other countries- causing WW III. All animals will be wiped out, and the remaining humans will start eating each other before ding of the radiation.

Pray for a miracle. Pray that the extraterrestrials come and make judgement day a reality, saving the humans worth saving and allowing the others to remain on Earth, where they will simply kill one another endlessly.
i think that we will die by man. mankind was put on this earth to love and warship god not to blow up and kill people.
We will kill ourselves. Are weopons will become so deadly that we will destroy the whole earth thru war
Some Terrorists will get hold of nuclear technology and right when we strip them of their power... They will blow everything up
Sorry for double post.... But stfu with that religous bullshit... God is not real...
At 1/15/06 06:19 PM, Co-MasTer-Op wrote: Sorry for double post.... But stfu with that religous bullshit... God is not real...
Actually god is real, but isn't a being. God is the essence of good, yet the essence of goodness is not always associated with who we refered to when we talk about god.
And thank you for showwing how insignificant you are to our species and race. I am quite sure that if we do go into cannibalism, you will be the first subject on my menu. Except I wouldn't waste my time consuming invaluable flesh.
By the way judgement day isn't really religious, actually. It's more of a prediction foretelled about when extraterrestrials come and they decide when humans are too annoying to let alive and which are worth living. And you would more than likely be killed one way or another, insuring that your life is futile and has no meaning to it, other than insuring the demise of other humans that exist around you. So thank you so much for your contributation for the human race's "survival."
As a species, we'll continue to bond with our technology and tinker with our genetic material in order to adapt better to each different environment (think about it, there's still a lot of ocean left to colonize), so eventually, humans as we recognize today will be extinct. We'll kill each other plenty in the process, of course, but really no worse than usual.
