I like the typeface of the original logo, the very pixelated font. It just had more personality and referenced NG's technology driven roots better.
This new typeface is ok, but just seems like too clean and prestine of a typeface for the personality of newgrounds.

I do like how the tank was cleaned up though and glad you kept the color scheme the same.

normally I'd probably complain about the plugs but if this means no more of those annoying smiley ads that speak whenever you roll your mouse over them, then by all means plug stuff. Hell I might even try going to the place you're plugging. The new logo would mean that the picture behind this text would have to be updated as will every god damn movie that has the logo. Hmm if the stickers are collector's items maybe I will order a set.

I'll give you some hints, the text is different, the turret on the tanks are different some of the shadings are diffent the wheels are different the destroyed buildings in the background are different and the guy in the tank is different there are probably other differences too but this is all I can remember.

Perhaps, but the pixelated text kind of reflects Newgrounds's roots in old school gaming, right? I'm not one to argue about typography much, but still...the new logo ain't too bad either.

And the marketing ploy worked, Tom! I will be purchasing the future old-school stickers before they run out! I'm sure Wade will be happy! :)

I think the new logo looks much better, as the layout of the site is improving, so should the logo.

The old one would look too simple or what could be called "shabby" to keep.

It's like every cartoon character, Donald Duck is drawed differently now compared to as "he" used to be drawed, and that is not a bad thing. :-)

No worries Tom! Th new is better than the old... it's more cool and i same time not too different from the old...

Careful, Tom. You freaked out quite a few people 2 days ago with the GG revamp, and now you've changed the logo before any of those people can recover. If I were you, I'd hold off those plans to announce the new console game until E3, or you could very well push some of the Newgroundites over the edge. (Or explode the brains of those who have already flipped out)

I like it though. At least now if I parody it, the word 'Newgrounds' is in an existing font, so it'll save time. The Clock Crew will probably come up with a redesign too, to match yours.

I ca see a lot of changes, from the barrel to the tracks. MUCH more deatil. I like it!

Ya, i don't reallyu like the font so much, but I like it, it's good. Usually when you guys change things it all "OMFG I want the old one back, it was better, I fear change". but like you said this wasnt to durastic, buit you definataly beefed it up a bit. I like this change

Some of you guys are blind, look at the difference in perspective between the two logos :p

Nice one! it's almost the same as the normal one, but more 'neat'. The font is pretty cool, and it looks...wicked ^,^

I really like this one, as much as the old one. It doesn't matter to me what logo you should get, the old one is good too =)

I hate that font. Love the tank, but that font has to go. I'd keep the original font.

Sure it'll be a shame to loose the old one, but this one has better text, and doesn't look so flat.

I really love the new logo Tom,it seems more well detailed and much nicer then the old one,i might just get me a shirt after all this time. =P

In other news... I just sent our new logo design to the screen printer for the next batch of shirts. Behold, the new logo! The original tank logo was illustrated by Andrew Brozyna. This new logo has been illustrated by Jeff Bandelin. We wanted to capture the essence of the original logo and not be too drastic, while at the same time beefing it up a good bit. I'm curious to hear feedback, but if you want the old logo to stay, you might as well just give up now. We all love the new one!

i like it but the font looks a little naff. just the logo looks cooler, minus text. adds a sense of newgrounds being a metaphorical tank figure, rather than a giant company (which it isnt)

i played that cat and mouse game in school today. i came home thinking Tom would be a little mad at the cheek of basically ripping the whole gameplay and graphics and making a worser job (although stilly highly fun). werent you a little annoyed?

I made a new variation on the Knight Entertainment Logo. I went for more of a seal type of look to add to DVD productions.

I personally don't think it was much of a ripoff, more of a tribute in that case. And to be completely honest, I enjoyed this game more.
