I have a question for everyone. When you upload flash on the internet and you have something going at 30fps do you have to put it at 50fps for get the reasult of 30fps on the internet?

no why would 30 fps = 50 fps 30 does not equal 50 the internet wont change it.

The frame rate of the movie is the same, regardless of location.

I dont know y but thats the only way i can get it to be what i want. I will post my movie up and ill show you one with 30fps and 50fps

sry about double post. Ok this is going at 50fps (it looks like my 30fps when i export it when i export on my comp) 1st and this is the one going at 30fps 2nd

both goes way toooo fast but the 50fps one is really faster than the other...
oh and your flash sucks

Ya i know that was an old movie i did in about 4hours. But the point iam trying to make is that when i export it on my comp the 30fps one it looks like the 50fps one on net. Do you understand me its hard to explain

Are you saying the 50FPS one looks like 30 when you play the EXPORTED FILE through the actual .swf? Or are you saying it looks like 30FPS when you just hit "enter" and test play?

Because if you change the frame rate without re-selecting the main stage a few times, flash will not change to the new frame rate when you play the movie INSIDE of flash.

OH yeah, I had a hardware/VIDEO card issue before.

It involved all flashes playing at lightspeed. Not sure if thats your case.

i had that too, so I just bought a new video card.
now i got good graphics and everything is fine. XD

actually the question is valid as if you view the flash on your computer it will run much smoother(less dropped frames) than if you view it inside of a web browser. I believe firefox actually runs the flash a little slower than IE in my testing

ok so i have 2 movies the same one at 50fps and one at 30fps. When i watch the 50fps one on the internet it looks like the 30fps direct .swf on my comp. It's really wierd because i have an good video card i have a NVIDIA GeForce 6200 TurboCache

well there's no real way to judge that considering you people can't view it on your compputer, but yeah it will probably look differenton everyone's computer , the best bet is to test on your friends computers. Also one thing to take into account owuld be if you have streaming sounds, flash will drop frames for peoples computers that are slower so the video will always keep up with the audio.
