Should i get a gamecube?

With the price so low, i don't have a reason to put it off anymore. Besides, i can't stand being away from mario or zelda games. It's like 70$ without a game, so should i get one?

I don't see why not. It has it's majority of good games. It's really cheap too, so hey why not spare $80 and buy one, despite that the new consoles will be out soon. I got mine for $50, brand new.

get a gamecube they are great, protable, sturdy, and some of the titles are fantastic (ie. the zelda games and the metroid games, oh and dont forget super shmash bros.)

You may as well. They're dirt cheap nowadays and have enough good exclusive games to be going on with for a while. Something like SSBM or Ikaruga can last you months in the right company.

Yeah, but that is on the PS2 now isn't it? Resident Evil 0 was a GameCube only release and it kicks alot of ass..

Just wait until the nintendo revolution comes out as its going to be backwards compatible along with tons of other features, browse the web and find some info if you like

Sure, why not? The console is probably very cheap right now. The new Zelda game is going to come out for it. Which should be pretty good. I heard that it was going to have some Revolution features.

to be honest with you Gamecube or i should say nintendo is the only system i will play. why? because we have so many 3d games for Xbox and PS2 and i play and think if i wanted this i would watch a movie instead cause its boring. so your answer is yes you should by a Gamecube

Well, if you can't afford something else, then go for it. It's a pretty good console, and has got some good and challenging games, although some people may consider them "for kids". But don't focus on that, focus on how challenging the games are.

I wouldn't do that if I were you, I have a GameCube and for the last several month there wasn't a single game released that made me drool. It's dying and the only big thing coming out is the legend of zelda. After that It's Le Fin.

I suggest you do get a gamecube and buy several of the player's choice games if you want to save money. Make sure you buy Metroid Prime.

what xbox? its a pc in a nutshell, an excuse for billy gates to make more money. It's games are made for pure carnage and walkthrough violence. The games don't take time to make a good story/plot and is very simple(you kill stuff and u don't have to think to play or make it).

Gamecube is for rpg people and it still has a lot of old titles on it like zelda, mario, metroid(very enjoyable spend days or weeks working on your file), and starfox however, starfox assault only has 10 missions.

if u like figuring things out, buy a gamecube.

metroid prime is very good with a very good storyline so u kinda half to read between the lines at all the logs and txt.

o and another thing about gamecube is that u get to aneywhere u want in their rpgs rather than just going where ur soppossed to go.

But this x-mas i bought another g-cube for 100 bucks that came with mario party7 a extra controller and a mic... so.... it was a good deal

You know I saw total profits for the Xbox and it's below the $0 mark. Which means he's losing money? Sony and Nintendo are actually making profits. I saw it in an article where he got the charts and graphs off of some website. Media Center or something. So Bill gates is actually losing money. He needs to go about it another way. He even got the units sold not an estimate because the ones even has a numerical figure.
