in need of URGENT help!

i updated my photos on my ipod clicked eject took it out closed everything down then came back again cos i found some more photos 2 put on. I clicked update and recived the following error:

"The ipod "Will's ipod" cannot be updated. The required file is locked."

Is there any way at all to fix this...

i'll join i got a silver mini :)

ZOGM, this is sexy. My black Logic3 i-Station just arrived, and it's awesome. At full volume, I can comfortably listen to it from the other side of the house, it charges my iPod, it synchronises my iPod, it comes with both UK and European (which probably fits US) chargers, and it even has a cable for line in from other MP3 players! hmmm I actually went down to J&R Computer world to look at various ipod sound docks I wasn't really impressed with that one although I have to say that I was suprised to see that it has it's own subwoffer.

HOLY SHIT I can't believe this my ipod alredy works on my new computer without installing any software whatsoever. Best of all I didn't even need to wipe out my ipod to get it to work what's up with that?

Hey i fink i fixed my ipod now :D but you know someone said about "NG theme" how can you get a theme? and can you get them on an ipod nano?

My iPod is getting really annoying!

Whenever it feels like it it will restart, or it will say it has no battery power. I started to listen to a song, after a couple of seconds, it said it had no battery power, when it was fully charged that morning. It has happened several times, does anybody know what might be the cause of this?

Why don't you search for "DeadPixels" under "author" in the search bar, click on his profile, and find out?

I finally did it after 12 straight hours of concentration I finally imported every single CD I own into my ipod now I have 2374 songs encoded at 192kbps in my hand. HEYOOOO!!!

I think that is the case with most iPods. My brother has a 30GB iPod Photo and my sister has a 1st gen mini and the only computers that they seem to work on are there laptops. My 3rd gen black and white 10GB however works on every computer I've tried it on and when I say every computer I've used it on OSX 10.4, Windows XP and Linux based systems. I <3 my iPod.

It must have somthing to do with the product registration since I used the same personal information on the computer I stated my ipod on and my new one it probably didn't give a fit

If your iPods less than 1 year old yiu can take it back to the store of purchase and get a replacement free of charge providing the batterys total life is less than 50% of what was originally.

I never actually knew that existed but to be honest I never really needed to know cause I live like 10 mins from a store that services iPods. They also request the serial number of the iPod etc. So you could most ikley only use it for legit claims which only make up about 25% of the claims I make.
