Hey guys sup? What does snowboarding and skateboarding have to do with music? ANyone?
A N Y O N E? LOL, anyways, I have about 4 yrs of drum experience and bout 2 of guitar. Piano is very easy for me. I taught my self the musical charts and notes for that in about a year and a half. And my main talent is making music, not rapping. If you check out my music page, youll see what I mean. ROFL.

What can I say... :) I never liked theory. I know some theory, but nothing I can really use effectively. But I'm thinking of making a program that will help me memorise notes and chords and all kinds of theory stuff. Then I'll have to learn some theory while making the program. I'll make it in Visual Basic (it's all I know how to use). If it's a success then I'll post it on my site.

My true musical talent is prolly beat boxing-I am actually thinking about making a submission of me beat boxing, and then from there I might consider adding synths.....

I've been playing trombone for 2 and 1/2 years, I'm in the top middle school band, and I'm also the shortest person whose ever played the bone at my school. I wanted to play the sousaphone, but my band teacher said its more of a manly instrument.
I also played piano for like, 6 years.
And I've snowboarded for 4

Guitar for 14+ years, bass for about as long, composing/midi for 11+ years.
And now I feel old.

Heh heh heh... you played the bone at your school. You could get suspended for that.

I think that im pretty musically talented, even though i dont play any instruments. I can play songs on the piano, but i cant read notes. I wish i had gotten into music earlier in my life, but its too late now. :(

Too late? What are you crazy? I started playing guitar when I was about your age, and I got pretty good at it. And I haven't practised my ass off at all.

Well, I have been playing the drums for around 8 - 9 years now. I don't get to practice as much these days, but I still ove to have a bash from time to time.
I used to play the piano and the sax, but I stopped many years ago. I don't know if I would be able to play them if I tried again nowdays.

Hey, another person that plays the sax! What kind did you play? I personally think alto sax owns all...

Yeah, I agree. I played the Alto Sax for maybe 2 - 3 years when I was in high school. I still kind of regret giving it up.
Alto is definitely the most flexible of the sax family.

without a computer, the closest thing I can make to music, is the beating of my face on the keyboard... DnB beat?
Regardless I have ABSOLUTELY no training in the musical field... everything I make, I make from my head and ear. I still can't recite the notes on the key without finding the C Note, and then progressing up/down accordingly.
This will probably screw me over on any form of musical career I wish to seek... too bad.

Dude, You're still young so it's not too late. I started playing guitar at that age. I think It's a good idea to learn to read music if you don't want to just play rock music. I've just started to learn to read music and I'm 29 so I don't think it's too late.
Get yourself a cheap acoustic or electric or something and learn some songs. You'll be happy you did when your older. :)

I've been playing guitar for around 15 years. Since I was 14. Had a bass guitar for about 6 years but never learned how to play it really... Been making music with the computer for about 2 years.
