I'm visiting newbgrounds since I was about 8. But I created an account when I was. I dunno, 11? So anyway, then I became the ussual newgrounds user...got addicted to the BBS and stopped playing games and shit. Contribution, MORE LIKE: GIVE AWAY UR LIFE!

This thread was made in 01 (WOW!!) and it's now 08.
Lot's has changed. The pop-ups are gone (thanks Tom/Wade) and I don't know what 'frames' are but I haven't heard about them so I'll assume they're gone too.

NG is a great place (especially the BBS), though not everyone here is an Albert Einstein you will meet some great people!

man, what a blast from the past, yet, it is true that it is people who change, but that in turn changes the site. portal has become much more...demanding into the quiality of their flash. Something that could have passed as decent back then will be frowned upon nowadays, seeing as how many professionals have started uploading their work and in turn, makes everything else look not-so-good anymore.

Same with the forums, people come, and people go. Same dispoutes, different scenarios, slightly different topics, same feeling of bliss everytime I come here. I find the site as addictive as I found it back in 1998 when I discovered newgrounds, just now real life gets in the way (same way it did back then and thus, I did not create an account until 2002)

Short of a world wide catastrophy, I do not belive Newgrounds is going anywhere. It is a pioneer in it's own class, and truth be told, the fanbase is too great for it to die just like that. All hail newgrounds :)

P.S.: I wonder when the next time this topic is revived is going to be? if anybody in the future reads this, please send me a PM with the link, I'd like to come back later on and see my own retarded post and mentally kick myself for no reason
