I have one, and i must tell you, it is an AWESOME GUN! I highly recommend this as a powerful yet fast reloading and shooting side-arm.

This is not good for a main weapon, however. It does not have enough range and will fall to guns with greater range such as longbows, ect.

For your main weapon, I highly recommend the Rev-shot

The Rev-shot is not made by Nerf, but it IS the best Nerf gun i have ever seen. It's reload speed is amazing, it fireing speed is INCREDIBLE, and it's range/power is unheard of. If you hit someone with a rev-shot that is fully charged, it will leave a bruise, dent your car.

I think you can find one of these at either K-mart or Wal-mart

no its still popular, i recommend the furyfire instead of the maverick beacause its the same exept it holds 10 darts instead of 6 and is pump-action. the mavericks still a great pistol though.

this gun, i have it right now lol... its pretty much 5 pieces that u can fully customise, fuck i dunno if its 5 pieces, something like that tho. so. on the first day we got it, i shot it, it was alright i guess, but it seriously lacks power . pretty much all of the nerf guns do

I have that gun, and after removing the air restrictor, it packs a much more powerful punch.

The macerick is pretty weak stock. But once again, removing the air restrictor gave it a much better range.

Oh, how i miss thee, Nerf...

I have one, it's a blast.

When I was a kid one of my favorite toys ever was a Nerf Sharpshooter. It's a little pistol that kinda looks like an oldschool laser gun with a handle on the back that you pull out to charge it. To me, the Maverick just seemed like an updated version that didn't need to be reloaded with every shot, so I had to get one. It's pretty cheap. I'm also generally a fan of revolvers...

I also had an Arrowstorm back then.

I remember I had one and I tried to shoot a Mighty Max figure out of one of the barrels, but it fell into the gun mechanism. The gun still worked the same, but the Mighty Max inside would always be rattling around.
