True, I played upon the old stereotypes. Howsomeever, the majority of young male posters would hold themselves to these draconian ideals. I'm just pointing out why they fail.

Well, it is a simple form of stimulus-response. I do believe she deserved it. And in the simplest form of ending a conflict it was a good outcome.
He could have kept his cool, siad he should just hit her back, then pressed for her to get suspeneded and then get the satisfaction of not being suspeneded himself. However, truth is most schools have an "all parties involved" clause, where even if you don't fight back you get suspeneded.
Now, this would lead to one of two things. Either sit back, take it, and know that you can control your reactions despite of your emotions or simple impulses. Or instead take the road that shows people (in a public atmosphere) that you won't take shit from anyone. In a highly tense and competitive place such as school the latter may be a better choice, but if you are interested in getting pussy you may just want to play all nice.
But still, I do contend that that bitch deserved it.
