Animal Crossing Money Tree Trouble. 2006-01-04 21:46:46 Reply

Hi guys, enough chit-chat, let's get down to business.

D'you know that in the DS game Animal Crossing, you can plant money trees with a golden shovel? When I planted mine, and waited for 5 days for them to grow... THEY DON'T GROW MONEY ON THEM!!!! Are they just trees? I spent 5k on making these trees! And now they don't do what I wanted them to! Please tell me something about this. Yeah. 'K.

Thanks

maybe it's a message from the tech team saying that you shouldn't rely on a fucking money tree for profit.

It may not always work. Burryingg a larger sum of money will increase the odds of their beeing a successful tree that will produce money.

No no, you have to dig up the money from the ground (glowing ground) with any kind of shovel and if you planted it in an ideal place (no water, leaf piles, pure dirt ground, etc. anywhere near it) the tree should grow to be big and strong and give you three bags of money a day.

It isn't very smart to plant trees in the winter, either. :)

They do give you money, but you have to nurture them. You have to mix blood and semen together, drink it then piss on the ground near the roots.

If that don't solve any problem that anyone may ever face, then may I drop dead rightj jklfejkwakakl;

Wow, you've been the most helpfull so far.... Maybe. But for everyone else, you don't water trees, and they grew successfully. I'll trust you... Maybe, but why bury 1k? the tree'll probably die, then I'll have to wait 5 days to grow it... I dunno, one o' me AC pals Wart Jr said to not think it'll grow before my eyes... maybe that means that it won't bear fruit 'till later.

And to that one guy, trees don't grow fruit everyday, they grow about once every 3 days.

In the one for Gamecube I just put 100's in and I got money trees.
Oh and its not with the golden shovel, its when you find a "shiny" in the ground and you get 1000 bells. You bury the money in the shiny hole.
The golden shovel is for planting shovels and making more golden shovels, or maybe for making the golden axe. I'm not sure.

THANKS!!! Finally! Someone who had owned an AC copy! But it's not the same for the DS version, I remember how you could grow money trees easy on the GC version. But the DS is different, if someone owns a DS version and knows how to grow a proper money tree, or has a tip... Tell me how to do it!

Thanks again.

I just got a DS and I'm really interested in buying this game, although it seems like a less complex version of the Sims and doesn't seem like you do much....but I've always liked games like this so I can't resist...I don't have any advice on the game but I just wanted to hear some opinions about the game...sorry if there are other posts on here that discuss this

I just need to revive this post. Anyone who plays ACWW please help me! I need money, I only have a couple hundred grand. So, how do you make money trees actually grow money? And I don't think it's the same with the GC game, where you have to have a shiny spot... Maybe you do... But I haven't found a shiny spot on the ground, so thanks again (if you answer that is).

the chances of growing one isn't good...
so hurry up and plant all of your money so at least one can grow and you can shut up.

I have nothing to say that is at all relevant.

Do you have the game? If not, then don't reply, but thanks... Nah, do reply, but please do it if you have the game. Maybe, k, thanks, I guess. Yeah, I should shut up, but I don't have my answer yet.
