Slow Gif

Hey, I made an animated gif in flash. It is 24 fps. I publish it, it works fine, but it is too slow! It went back to the default 12 fps. How do I make an animated gif with 24 fps, or is there no way?

When you reset the FPS click off to where you can't see the blinking line.

I don't think there's a way. I could be wrong, but I think it defaults itself at 12.

Are you using extra frames ?

.gifs will ALWAYS, ALWAYS export themselves at 12 fps.

are you viewing your gif with internet explorer? IE is inferior and slows down gifs. if this is not the problem, post the gif, either attach it, or if its too big, host it on imageshack and i (or someone else) would be glad to help fix your gif :)

It's not that slow. When you view it in windows picture fax viewer (which im assuming you are), it goes really slow. But if you upload it as an avatar to like...your newgrounds profile or something, then it will be going at 24 fps.

I've made a lot of gifs and no they don't only go 12 FPS.

Also try and look at it from Imageshack.

You have to edit the gif prefrence I think the keys are Ctrl+Shift+F12
