Never heard of fault lines along the east coast.

in 2006, a bunch of bad political things will happen, a new virus will come out some time in the summer, some rapper will get shot.

in 2012 the world will end. </offtopic>

I will agree with the earthquake statement because here in Louisiana we just had a earthquake but it was only a 3 and the news networks are keeping very quiet about it. That makes me suspicious that a bigger one it coming. We never have earthquakes. Also, after the crap we just went through with these hurricanes, I am nervous about next years hurricane season.

The earthquake is a little farfetched, but we'll probably get nuked once the democrats win the presidency in 2008.

I think ther last earthquake was in June (felt in LA). Sometime during last summer, I forgot.

They are there.

In November of 1755, an earthquake with an estimated magnitude of 6.0 and a maximum intensity of VIII occurred 200 miles off the coast of Cape Ann, Massachusetts. Boston was heavily damaged. The strongest earthquakes recorded in the continental US were not in the West; they were centered in eastern Missouri near the border with Kentucky and Tennessee. In the winter of 1811-1812, a series of three earthquakes of magnitudes 8.4 to 8.7 and maximum intensities of XI occurred near New Madrid, Missouri. These shocks were so strong that observers reported that the land distorted into visible rolling waves. They changed the course of the Mississippi River; they made church bells ring in Boston and Washington, D.C. Because the surrounding area was mostly undeveloped at the time, few deaths were reported and these events stirred relatively little attention then. In August of 1886, a strong earthquake occurred in Charleston, South Carolina. Magnitude is estimated at 6.6 and maximum intensity was X. Most of the city of Charleston was damaged or destroyed. Earthquakes in the East are not confined to these areas; they have been recorded in every State east of the Mississippi. Damaging earthquakes have occurred historically in nearly every eastern State.

So often times it happens, that we live our lives in chains, and we never even know we had the key...

Now what exactly is the huge fault line that will cause an earthquake on the East Coast?

Anyway, time to be serious. In this planet's evolution, there come times when the planet goes through huge changes. It's usually like dominoes-- one thing occurs which sets off another occurrence, etc. I believe that in the next 50-100 years the map of the Earth will have changed dramatically due to earthquakes, tsunamis, storms, etc. Cities will be sunk or new mountains will be formed. It is time for a cleansing.

Weep for your salvation.

Count the bodies like sheep to the rhythm of the war drum...

Take your pick.

There's a lot of ways that the Earth/Human Race get to go out in. I prefer the dreaded "Earthquake-enhanced tornado being hit by a radio-active meteor" event myself.

It Could Happen Tomorrow. Premiering January 15th on the Weather Channel.
An earthquake in San Francisco. A Category 5 hurricane in NYC. Tsunamis along the east coast. California breaks away from the states, to go hang out with Hawaii. Alaska can come too. THE END.

Well, considering last year and the cycle we are currently in, I wouldn't be surprised if all of those things happened this year. Maybe Katrina was just a tropical storm compared to what will come this year (250 mph hurricane knocks over Florida?).

No, that's not it. When the end of the world comes, the Lord will rain fire from the heavens down unto the feeble-minded humans, burning them to puny ash and dust. Then, California will suffer a massive earthquake, breaking itself from the U.S, floating in the Pacific Ocean and smashing headlong into the state of Hawaii, crushing it beneath Hollywood's unforgiving clutches. Then, as the President himself is sitting in his "White" House, a nuculear bomb will detonate in the heart of the city, killing millions. As the United States greives for the loss of their President and their puny capitol, Al-Queda will launch a massive takeover attack on the United States herself. Millions will die, historical buildings reduced to rubble, and thousands taken prisoner.

Finally, the Lord will send down War, Famine, Pestillance and Death, to wipe out all the remaining inhabitans of the world. Then, when it is over, they will all be judged in the heavenly court's above.

Thank you my friends, this has been fun chatting with you, Tata.
