Is there any AS to control the frame rate of your flash movie? There must be since you can control everything else. I'm working 24fps but I'd like it to drop to 12 during one scene.

well there's no direct way to do it (via a property), but it can be done by using intervals. search the forum about changing framerate and intervals.

Nope. I don't think that's possible. You've got to have the same rate throught the whole movie.

i agree with you on that one.
although that tutorial only uses setInterval to change it. but that doesnt change the fact that you suck.

frame rate stays the same thoughout the flash, but you could put more spaces between each change in animation to make it look slower

I know I can do that but... I don't wanna lol. It's because I'm importing and old flash (12fps) into my new flash (24fps). I really don't want to go and add a couple of hundred frames that aren't really needed, also wouldn't it just take up more memory? I wouldn't know to be honest.
