Yes C++ is the best, plus since most web languages (for websites) is based off of C you will have no trouble learning that too

C of course... sure, assambler is fast (at least when your done programming), but compared to java C is at the speed of light :))

And other languages like php are easier to learn because they all have similarities....

And with C you can write gameboy(advance)games, wish i had more time, never got more done then collision detection...

definately c++, its a universal language, almost allo other programming languages r built on it in some way, like VBS for example. its also prolly the most powerful language ull ever learn

C++ for sure.
its the industry standard, java is for begins and assembly isn't worth it. C++ is what you need to know in order to make today's 3D games.

Don't even consider Java, it's a waste of space that amounts to be being little more than a C++ wannabe.

C++ vs. assembly:
Assembly is technically more efficient, but the difference in almost all cases will be almost negligable. Considering that it takes several times as long to build something in assembly, and C++ can be used for just about everything (including OSes such as Linux and just about every game in existense), C++ is, 99% of the time, the better language to code in.
