I know this thread is a joke, but I have to get this off my chest...

I hate it when people always use weight as the litmus test of whether or not they are obese. And BMI is a bunch of bullshit-- it does take it to the next step and factor in your height, but it's still based solely on weight and height! Doesn't the fact that they are almost spelled the same make people realize that they are just as useless in determining obesity?!?!

What we need to base obesity on is body fat percentage. I mean, seriously-- would you take someone who is 5'8" and weight 250 pounds as a fat-ass if you found out that their body fat percentage was around 7%?? Of course not! They are just super buff! All of their weight is muscle and very little of it is fat. Obese they are not.

The worst part about this is when girls get so crazy about their weight. My girlfriend is a fitness instructor and she knows that the weight she has is due to her muscle and not her fat... but she goes crazy everytime she steps on the scale! But she looks great! I think we should all forget about weight and just strive to keep our body fat percentage around 15% for guys, 20-25% for girls (they have boobs, you know). You can weigh whatever the fuck you want as long as your body fat percentage is around that area-- you're not obese, you're fit.

The only way to tell is if you take a picture of you shirtless. But then 90% of NGer's will call you gay for posting pics like that. Just becuase your 300 lbs doesn't make you obese, but the fact your tall and 300 lbs doesn't make you not fat either.
