I first downloaded the trial verison, before buying Flash MX 2004 for 75% off the regular price from Macromedia's web-site (I had a special discount ;-P), and then I practiced, practiced, practiced.

Well, for anyone looking to buy flash, I would reccommend MX (you can probably get it on Ebay) because it's cheaper now that 8 is out, and 8 isn't really that different; just cooler with more features. and easier to use.

I agree, i tried both and i think i might sway towards MX, because it is cheaper. I also didnt notice too many diferences either.
