It definitely isn't the BEST game for the PC (a lot of people don't like it), but Assassin's Creed is my all time favorite computer game. It's just my kind of game, I guess.

i think that Unreal Tournament 2004 is by far the best multiplayer PC game ever. it's so underrated mainly because of Epic Games' retarded advertising methods as well as big name game companies releasing their titles. but youll know that UT2k4 is the best once you play.

never before have i experienced such intricacy and technicality in a game. in most shooter games all you need is good aim and some tactics and youll be the best. in UT you need timing, movement, strategy, guts, and of course aim in order to become good. and it plays NOTHING like almost any PC shooter out there. its just so innovative. no other game has movements and agility like UT.

plus, in my opinion its one hell of a spectator game. just like how football/basketball are spectator sports, UT is a spectator game. if youre one of the people spectating a clan match it really is enjoyable. you can see the players' agility, accuracy, and reflexes and you can just see them dodge jumping across the map and hitting huge shock combos as well as headshots.

but they fucked everything over with UT3, i hope UT2k4 will come back to life!!!!

I don't live in the past though. The evolution of gaming has been quite amazing looking at top-titles like Crysis and comparing them to games 10 years ago.

Mindblowing, so to say.

By the way:
I wish fanboys died out already. Why the fuck does everyone have to argue about personal preferences? That is just beyond me. Enjoy this god-damn form of entertainment and be happy with it. On the other hand the companies mostly fuel these raging fires of rivalry. It got out of hand with Microsoft & Sony.

I don't play video/PC games anymore, but Half-Life is definitely the best.

The original Half-Life brought its genre of gaming to a new level, while Half-Life 2 later went on to do that once again. Not only did these game influence a lot, they spawned "mods" such as Counter-Strike, Day of Defeat and Team Fortress, and some of those are still among the most played games today, almost a decade after some of them were originally released (Counter-Strike).
