If you want to be pedantic, it's actually dd/mm/yy (or dd/mm/yyyy). However, that's the European format, rather than the American format.

I'd also like to take this time to give out a big F U to Amazon.com. They charged my card on 12/05/05 and then the company they were supposed to send my order to claims they never got it. So the stuff I ordered never arrived for Christmas and I was charged on 12/5/05! I thought retailers were not to charge your credit card until the item was being shipped! What a bunch of HORSE S*#@! So I filed a claim with Amazon telling those c@ck gobblers I want a full refund.

THey always say they will not charge your card until the order is shipped and then when as soon as you complete the order you can check and your card has already been charged. They always do it to me. There should be a law or something against it.
