My friend has a ipod video and seriously the compatability of it is shit! Every video has to be ipods own very special m4v file. What use is that? Makes it so bloody time consuming to convert all your files!

its not great. too small a screen...i converted my ipod photo to play video, but its pretty much worthless.

I wouldn't advise anyone getting an iPod anything. They're all overpriced and better models are available for cheaper. You're just paying for name, looks and shoddy workmanship.

I have to compact my songs to sony files for my mp3 but the good thing is it reduces its size by about 40% so more songs for me :)

Exactly, i was going to get a ipod 20gb mp3 player until i stumbled accross a phillips mp3 player with the same space, better software to use with it and only £120.

iTunes is a terrible media player and I refuse to download it, again.
I'm still finding files and processes running relating to it after I uninstalled it 3 weeks ago.

My Mp3 player works like a damn hard drive, USB it, has all it's own drivers. Done.
