The fuck are you talking about, Mr. Fifty-nine posts?
I swear by my life - and my love of it - that I will never live my life for the sake of another man, or ask another man to live his for mine.

im sad to hear though that no one is taking into consideration the billions of lives lost everyday due to terrorist attacks ... but since theyre poor and no one cares about them they never get the recognition deserved.
I honor my friends, no one attack means less than another. A life is priceless, no matter how many died, my african, middle eastern, european, asian brothers and sisters who died no longer have to worry about it.

They were both terrible events but only about 50 people died in london bombings and like 3000 died in twin towers so i think the towers deserves a bit more care

I don't think you can make that assertation without asking why there is not day of mourning for the 30,000 civilians dead in Iraq as a result of terror attacks there. That is 10x more than the Twin Towers and 600x more than the Tube Bombings.

Lets do some math! There are not quite six billion people on the planet, best case scenario, two billion people dying each day, (thats based on your figure of "billions"), to make this go easier, lets say that the first group of people died on monday, so that leaves four billion people on the planet left to repopulate the human race on tuesday, only half of the people left are female and able to have children. So lets say that two billion babies are born on tuesday, well since another two billion people have now died on tuesday our count went up to six billion again but at the end of the day went back down to four billion people. And since the gestation period for a human baby is about nine months we can assume that the world is no longer going to be seeing any new populace for quite some time. On wednesday another two billion people will die and on thursday another two billion people, leaving the planet devoid of human life, in four days.
but since theyre poor and no one cares about them they never get the recognition deserved.
I think you have a decent point, many poor and rich people have died at the hands of terrorism and we simply don't hear about it. The reason being that the media doesn't think that if they report stuff like that on a regular basis, that they will get good ratings. however I don't think that it's all about money, I think it has more to do with the political slant that the media wants to put on any given situation. I disagree with your statement that no one cares, don't forget about the war on terrorism.
I honor my friends, no one attack means less than another. A life is priceless, no matter how many died, my african, middle eastern, european, asian brothers and sisters who died no longer have to worry about it.
Good for you, but the 9:11 attacks mean more to me because they happened in my country, nice sentiment though.
I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. I just thought you all should know :)

Lets all agree to use the same number system
1=one
10=ten
100=hundred
1 000=thousand
1 000 000=million
1 000 000 000=billion
1 000 000 000 000=trillion
and so on

Brits and Americans do it differently. We English reckon it goes:
1=one
10=ten
100=hundred
1 000=thousand
1 000 000=million
1 000 000 000 000=billion
1 000 000 000 000 000 000=trillion
This makes us insane. But I'm happy to use Dr's numbers for the sake of convenience.

maybe because america was on a high after the cold war,and the fact that was the first major terrorist attack on america. plus its Britain you idiotterrorism has happened since the 1920's. plus there was the fact the blitz did more damage and the londoners got over it. Ignoring terrorism is the best way to defeat it which its what Britain does picks up the pieces and moves on. The main aim of a terrorist is to spread fear and get attention. deny them of that and there support collapses.

Blame the tabloid journalists that dubbed it 7/7, therefore making the mental link in people's minds that:
1.) It was the work of Osama bin-Laden and his henchmen.
2.) It was as bad as 9/11.
3.) Nobody pointed out that dubbing the Madrid bombing 3/11 had similar effects on the inherant ignorance and racism in the so-called minds of tabloid readers.
If in doubt, blame The Daily Mail...

Well, we don't get a day off, but I know why you'd think so. Because American lives are much more valuable than those of the rest of the world, especially you fog-breathers.
Just because your homes were leveled, that doesn’t mean shit. Be happy, you’ve got Narnia.

And there is nearly 6.5 billion people on this earth, people! Not 5 or 6.

About 350,000 people have died this year because of natural disasters (Spanish link ). Does anyone care?
Here in Spain we don't have the day off because of the 3/11, and the truth is I preffer it that way. I mean, sometimes it seems just want the day off so they can stop working, not because they are going to think about what happened.
