Contrary to popular belief, movies take longer than a year or so to make. And updates are only made when information is released. Obviously, they're busy.

Steve Oedekerk announced on his official forums that there would be NO sequel to Kung Pow, since:

1. The first movie wasn't popular enough to justify a sequel. Fox refused to give him a single penny for that project.

2. He is working on a million projects at the same time.

3. It won't happen. He did the first movie for fun, and he never said that he WOULD make a trilogy, or even a sequel. He only said that he would like to make another movie if he had the time and the money. Currently, it is not possible for him.

Kung Pow 2 will never happen. He (unofficially) abandoned the project.
