insulting people by their bands

One of the lamest insults i see is

Favourite Band:
'one that i dont like, therefore its not cool, because i think that'

People always seem to think a decent flame is by insulting the persons music tastes, but that's really, really lame

they seem to think that their opinion of that band suddenly accounts for whether they that band is 'cool' or not. Wrong. The chances are the person you have just flamed doesnt give a shit, or anyone else for that matter

whether its emo, rock, opera, or even fucking pop, dont insult someone's band, its a really crappy thing to do, you dont rule the world, you just suck ass.
