I'm sorry for calling you a noob but you are a noob!! You don't just do 100 situps a day. You build up your muscles gradually. start off with a suitable amount say 20. Then 3 days later (only after 3 days) do another 5. Then aft3re the next three days do another 5. If you're young like me, then when you are about 18 you should have rock hard 6 pak
You probably didn't do real situps.
Not exactly sure, but I know I need to start doing the same thing. I've been pretty inactive ever since I graduated from high school. I just need to get into a routine where I won't be inactive, and I'll be able to balance out my weight. Hell, it wouldn't hurt to get those abs like you want. :)

Define real situps please. :( This is one thing I'm foggy about.
I do it the way we used to do it in my kenpo school, nothing supporting your legs, you have your arms up by your face, situp do 2 soft jabs and count, go back down, repeat.
Pat bateman is up to 1000 a day.

doing sit ups wont get you a six pack.
most people do aound 1000 ab related reps a night as well as aerobic/intensive training to get toned abs.

It's really too bad, because Mr. T is sitting pretty at infinity +2.
Think you're pretty clever...
You can probably google how to do them properly.
Just type "correct sit up technique".

You don't even want to know what Vin Diesel is at.
if only doing weights would get your experience on ng up. that would be the life!
The best way to do them for abs is crossing your arms across your chest and making sure theu dont leave your chest, and your feet dont leave the ground... and giv'r
problem is, that technique isnt necessarily good for your back... but we're all quite young, so we dont have to care quite yet.
200 consecutive isnt huge, but its wierd to suddenly start off with.
I'd start doing 100 a day. For the first week it might burn, but if you can make it past that you'll probably be into a habit anyway. Then adding 10 every week or two (depending on your aches) would suffice.
At least, that is how I started.

How to get a 6-pack.
Doing 200 sit ups every night ain't gonna give you great abs.
1.You should spent no more then 20 minutes training your abs.By this I mean doing 20-40 hard sit ups then resting for 3-5 minutes then going again. The ones that take 4- 6 seconds per rep are hard sit ups.You need to put real pressure on your abs.If you can do 200 it means you're not doing high enough intensity sit ups. You can find more complicated sit ups at - www.bestabs.com
Doing just traditional crunches just works your upper abs.You have traverse abdominals, obliques and lower abs to think about too!
2.Don't train your abs every day.The abs are muscles. The way muscle growth works is that you train them hard for one day.By training them hard you are ripping and tearing muscle fibres.YOU ALWAYS REST THE DAY AFTER.This gives your muscle fibres time to repair and GROW.Its when your resting after a workout that your abs and other muscles are growing and getting bigger.
3.Important thing to remember: Sit ups DO NOT GIVE YOU A FLAT BELLY. Yup thats right. If you're over weight or even have lets say a 36inch waist all those sit ups and crunches ain't gonna do anything to that wide belly. You need to burn that fat by doing cardio excerise.Thats means cycling, basketball, runnuing etc.
Once you're down to a 32inch waist then you start training your abs. Whats the point doing doing ab excerises if you have a belly?? NO one will see them!
My abs are alright at the moment.Till no completely happy though.

Its not a good idea to do that many press ups in one go at all! You will just wreck your gut! Escpecially at your... young tender age, hmm *licks lips*
N00b.
I can do 500.
Not really.
