I came to my computer, and my folder where I keep my FLAs and my desktop shortcut to flash were gone.

2+ years of work. Gone.

I've used 2 file finders. All my FLAs are fucking gone.

Hard to draw pictures. All of my actionscript breakthroughs. EVERY ENGINE I'VE EVER MADE. Unfinished games. Half the Clock Crew's library.

Can anyone tell me what happened? Nothing else is missing. I'm reaching the point where I want to kill.

No. Although I can see how you could come to that conclusion.

Maybe it's just the shortcut that got deleted? Look around.

Still, it wouldn't be suprising if an admin deleted it. 2 years + of .fla files are bound to make some sort of dent in your HDD.

Look on the bright side. The most valuable thing you get from Flash - knowledge and experience to make better and better projects, can never be deleted. Well, at least unless you get hit over the head with something.

I am the admin on this computer. There are only 9 FLAs on this computer. They're gone for sure.

I left it on, but my immediate family are the only ones who have been in this house since the 10th. Which is the last day I accessed flash.

How do you system restore on Windows 2000? I never trusted XP.

and search for the titles of the movies, maybe they got moved around somehow
check recycling bin
kill anyone who had access to computer

If you share this PC whit others... pwnage... Or some hacker hacked your pc and delete your all work... this is really bad man, Try to restore it by Start>All Programs>Accesories>System tools>System Restore. I hope it works, that's really awful

It's as if you diddn't even read the first post...

And I'm pretty sure 2000 dosen't have a system restore. And the 'Backup' application is of no use to me at this point.

But as Paranoia said, I still have my technique. And I can steal variations of the engines I spent countless hours on, from one of those websites. Other things, I'm just gonna have to let go, sick as it makes me feel.
