How soon is to soon in a relationship in your opinion?
I know I was always the guy who said I'd hold off till marriage, but being in a relationship changes everything. I just don't know...

My girlfriend and I did the nasty after a month of going out and getting to know eachother and now we're past 7 months of seeing eachother.
If you want to have a good relationship you really have to wait till both sides are comfortable with it and don't make your first time when you're both smashed.

18 is a fine age. You two are still immature in general, but mature enough to make that sort of decision. Plan it out though. The first time isn't always fun, so it'd be a good idea to talk to her beforehand about the whole thing.
Basically, it guarentees a couple things. The most important being that you two decided you wanted to have sex while not under the influence of hormones. So you know it's for sure.

If you want a serious relationship, the physical attraction must not be the dominating reason to why you see eachother. But ofcourse, there is a difference between making love and to fuck.
To make love is a important ingredience of the relationship though, and whenever both of you are ready for it, then why not. I bet you are out for more than just her body anyways gumOnShoe.
