Only a minority of non-Christians who are insecure in their beliefs get bugged. Fact is, there are a lot of people out there open to the message of Christianity. I fail to see why they should stop preaching the gospel because it annoys a few people (mostly below the age of 15).

If that was true, then they would not take any chances on anything, which clearly isn't true.

In my psychological studies, I have found that atheists are the ones who are truly afraid of God. It's similar to those people who are secretly gay, but it's too much to handle so they compensate by hating gay people, atheists are similar. The thought of a God scares a lot of people, so they tell themselves that there is no God so they don't have to think about it. Some would actually prefer no meaning to life rather than a meaning they are afraid of or one they may not agree with.

i was bombarded by a christian once. she was fiercly trying to convert me and wouldnt let go it was quite a traumatic experience. But a few motnhs of therapy i got over it.

but i always take the piss out of the 'god gang' and they tell me im going to hell i guess its a loveh ate relationship.

I'm only bugged when someone who knows less than me about Christianity tries to preach to me. I was raised in a private Christian school and the whole bit, but as I got older I questioned it and researched it and formed my own opinion on it, as opposed to just mindlessly accepted what I've been taught. It irks me when people try and tell me how good Christianity is without the whole knowledge of what their religion entails...especially since some parts of it are nothing to be proud of.
Luckily, most Christians don't try to convert me. Except my grandmother. Every Thanksgiving she reminds me I'm hellbound...lol...

I called this guy a little shit because he's yelling and attacking people who don't agree with what he agrees with, and then he wonders why he's getting so much negative feedback. I don't even go to church, nice of you to jump to conclusions. And if I truly make you sick because I criticised someone for criticising a group of people, then I feel sorry for you, get over it.

And on a side note, when people say they don't like religion, they really mean Christianity. Don't bullshit yourself, you know it's true. Whenever they use an "example", it's always that religion, never Jews, on occasion a Muslims suicide bombing but most of the time that's too much of a "hot topic" to touch. They've got a general bias against Christians, most of the time they base their negative opinions about it from OTHER atheists, not from observing the religion itself.

It has something we learned about in anthropology. Structuralism is the idea that every culture in the world has defined extremes, like hot and cold, black and white, up and down. Heaven and Hell work the same way, some people are disturbed by the idea of moral extremes, or the fact that the things they will change their own fate. The ideas of sin or karma or whatever you prefer to think... many atheists, it seems, don't like to deal with these ideas. They think in subjective moral relativites. They compare other people's moral well-being to their own, but should be comparing them in respect to Heaven and Hell, black and white. We all learn that the world is not always black and white, and there always are shades of gray. But a person evaluating their moral well-being should really always choose the lighter shade of gray instead of white. God gave us this ability to choose in the cases where it is more productive to be off-white instead of white.

Anyways, that's enough rambling from me. If you're wondering how I can pretend to know people so well, I'm actually a Catholic who went to a public high school (by choice). I'm glad I chose off-white in that case, because I probably came out of high school with a stronger faith than I would have gotten in the Catholic high school.

i went to catholic school my hole life. . . there for i hate the catholic church alot. no offense to catholics. . .but that is my opinion
