Could someone people teach me step by step on how to create rain? Heavy rain to be exact. I found a tutorial, but it wasn't a step by step so it didn't help much...

best done with cg, though I havnt run into a scenario in which I needed to do that yet.

I'm not sure what CG is... I really want to learn how to animate rain... I was looking everywhere for a decent tutorial... please help...

P.S. How do you change the opacity (alpha) of a layer/object?

Computer Graphics, rendered 3D stuff. Other than that, rain is going to be very unproffesional and a very anoying thing to do.

I do have a couple of 3D modelers... I'm not good at particles/effects, buy i'll try.

P.S. How do you change the alpha?
