Who does flash at school?

this is kinda of a pointless but whatever i'm bored anyways i'm doing flash a my school right now and well having alot of fun doing it learn some new stuff ocassionally but i learn more on my own at home. so jut out of curiosity who else here is doing flash at school?

I do. We just updated from MX to 8, so im a happy camper. But all we have is macs. : (

No offense to the mac users out there, but i just plain old dont like them.

My best work was done at school. I actually have a reason to finish something, marks. Games are fun to make thier, you have ALOT of people willing to "test" your game durring class.

I do. we have either macs or windows machines, but MX on either. no word on whether we're going to get 8 for next semester, either. I haven't really worked in flash a whole lot at home since getting 8, but hot damn, 8 makes ASing MUCH easier.

I do, but thats only because it's become a "compulsory" subject in Victoria, and well, the teachers that teach dont know anything about it, in fact, i knew more about what they teach about flash BEFORE they started teaching it....but i guess that's good because all th IT people at my school know how good i am, and whenever we have to do a Flash task, i can do whatever i want and get full marks, mostly because the tasks are "competantly create a flash with both shape tweening and masking", please, i can do that in my sleep....well, in my dreams i do. So, while the class struggles on that, i normally get the chance to work on some project im working on at the time.

same, he had it coming to him. just like what i was doing today; we had orientation day and there were loads of year 6's walking around.
so i just walked into them all. it was so much fun, but each group of year 6/7's get cockier every year so this year i thought i would set them straight.

They should reinstitue the school heirarchy back in as a compulsory curiculum task. It's quite simple:

Me then principal, then sub principal's (deputy and vices) then teachers, then students (ranking from highest year level to lowest) and then you.

they tried to teach us flash. it was painfully bad, they made us use these "flash for beginners" book which told you how to make a weather map the SLOWEST and most boring way possible. it is fun showing people at school the games you make, even if it's just a car engine copied off flashkit, it'll keep them amused for weeks.

Yeah, I learned flash from school. A class at my high school taught me how to use the program. That's how I made Psycho Killer and Russian Roulette. I've got WAY better since then.

Anyways, I'm hoping to take a "Flash 2" course at my community college next semester. It's awesome that you can take classes there while still attending high school. Hopefully I can learn some Action Script.

i signed up for the elective "Basic Animation", but i dont think i got it (:

I do Flash at University. The annoying thing is, that I have two computers. The college won't let me install the same copy of flash onto both computers. They say it's a breach of policy or something. So, I either have one P.C without Flash, or I buy it twice. :\
