they called it memory metal or something

ok, is this material capable of supporting at least a half ton of metal?
Posted at: 12/5/05 12:03 PM
wow half a ton is alot......well i guess if you had alot of it then yes, but if your looking for a material that you wont need much of then go for reinforced titanium. That is hell strong but pricey i would assume

Well, this is strictly confidential, but I don't see harm in telling you this bit. Us moles have been working on a project in which we can create a substance strong enough to resist anything at all. In other words, something indestructible. This substance will be used to prtoect our underground facilities and our younglings. THe project is code-named Mission: CASTLE WALL. That is all.

it shouldnt, electricity excites the electrons making them expand...i guess anti matter would shrink then?

that was just an estimate, and i'm not thinking too clearly. how much does the memory metal cost?

That's quite a question. Most things capable of supporting such weight (i.e. metal) would expand.

alright, here's what i want to do: i want to make an actuator that will contract like a muscle when i run an electrical current through it.

If we're talking about alternating current, then my muscles would qualify.
Think you're pretty clever...
