First off, those aren't the new games that are to come out for the 360. If you play old PS1 games on a PS2 you don't see much of a difference either. That's like taking fucking gameboy color games and playing them on an SP and saying "WTF? they're not much better!!!". Yes, Madden redid their 2006, but that was just a quick redo and release for the 360, they didn't actually rescript it to be more compatible, they just put in some of the stuff that the original xbox couldn't handle such as the more detailed reflections, more advanced AI, and higher quality renders/models/collision tests. Wait 'till you see the games that are being released specifically to show off the 360's graphics before you call that all it can do. It's literally like you're taking fucking one of the original mario side-scrollers, puting it on a PS2, and complaining about how the graphics suck.
On top of that, the 360 has online play that is entirely unrivaled. The people at xbox live actually know what they're doing with that. You'll notice that the PS2 had online play, but who the fuck actually played online with their PS2? The Gamecube tried the same too, another complete failure at it.
And then to all of you who are like "ZOMGWTFXBOX360 LIEK EXPLUADED!!!111", first off, majority of these things are intentional abuse of the system, or just plain stupidity. OR, they're exaggerated to hell and back. AND, on top of that, it is expected that new technology has flaws when it is first released. I find it quite funny how people are like "xbox sux it haz bugz", because when the Revolution and the PS3 come out...the same thing will happen.
And don't think that releasing early meant they rushed it. You have no idea how long they've been working on it before hand. For all you know, they'd been working on the 360 since before they released the original Xbox. Meaning they'd been working on it for like 6 years+ (no I don't actually think they did I'm just showing my point). Then you take the PS3 and think oh well they're spending like a year and a half not just a year on it and you assume it's less rushed, even though, in reality that could mean the 360 was actually being done for 3 times as long as the PS3.
DOING THINGS LATER DOESN'T MEAN THEY'LL BE BETTER. If I wait 'till the day before my homework is do to start a two week project, does that mean it'll be better than the person's who went and started it the day it was assigned and then completed it thoroughly over a week and a half? Well, according to you guys, since they turned it in 25% of the time earlier, it must be crap compared to what will be turned in when all of the time is up.
