Monday December 5th
Today apparently being Denvish Day (check it!, I considered putting two of my own tracks on the frotpage. But then I decided that my ego wasn't QUITE that big (yet).

wow I didnt think that I could have so much fun fisting denvish in a game... HAHAHAHAHA...

thanks denvy for using me and khuskan's songs on the front page! I see u used my song that you used in your flash game - right on!

now another question that has been nagging me - once an artist has been featured - will it be like the weekl;y featured artist in the audio portal where after one feature they are never ever featured ever again...?

Yup, big fan of Lemmings. At some point I intend to do a Flash remake of the game, hopefully.

There's no limit to the number of times an artist can be featured. If a user has been on there once, though, it might be a while before their turn comes again. I suppose this thread is a good way for me to keep track of who has been featured already

i could help you graphically with that game too if you wanted denvish.. ^^

sadly I doubt it will ever be finished anytime soon.. I wish I could just export the whole damn thing as a movie file..

I generally choose one 'classic' artist, and one who I think deserves more recognition.
Obviously the weekend spots will bring more exposure.

Same feel of the songs, in general?
Wouldnt that be just easier to say? :|

Yup. Chron has not only a MASSIVE collection of audio on NG, but also has established himself a pretty good reputation, even outside the AP/AF. Others in the same boat include Edgen, Evil-Dog, Paragonx9, RageVI, B0unc3, -API-, Dreamscaper, DJRunaway, GoreBastard, KingBastard, Dreamscaper, and Stamper.

When I select the second category, (the 'unrecognised' or 'underrated' artists), it's basically the same process as I use when I look for audio to use in my Flash: I browse not the first page of each genre, but delve deeper into pages 5-X, for those artists who have submitted something great, but not had the time or inclination to get their friends to vote their stuff up. You know the game. You submit something, vote 5 on it, some troll votes 0 on it, and it stays in the marsh of the AP at 2.5 for the rest of its life.

There are many, many, excellent artists who fall into this category. If they're active on the Audio forum, it will stand them in better stead in terms of recognition, but sometimes I'm going to choose artists who you guys have never even heard of. Don't let that stop you from listening to their tracks WITHOUT PREJUDICE, and giving them a bit of a boost if you like what you hear.
