Then again, it is a seriously awesome song, and that news post about b0unc3 getting signed did loads for his popularity.

Thank god, API was the first person I talked to about it, we were wondering if it would work or not, and it suprisingly does, that's a lot of fan power going right into those two links.

I'd have to comment on its placement. At first I thought it was bad, being right at the bottem of all featured content, but infact its made it closer to the latest news post which in turn makes it more noticed.

i was afraid theyd make it last a week for each person - thus entering in a GIANT amount of non-fair downloads that regular ppl wouldnt be able to keep up with - along with giant overbloatedly successful giants of musicians overnight.. but its all good.

I could see this thread over taking the audio advertisements in length...

But the thing that has to be fixed is it shows if the track is diamond, gold etc, it looks more professional.

Hmmm. Thanks for the suggestions, but I'd like to discourage people from turning this thread into a nominations topic. If we can keep it to just commenting on what's on the frontpage, it would be better.
Reasoning? Users have no input into the Flash that's featured on the FP, so there's no reason why they should be able to influence the audio that's on there. It's been discussed a little in the mod lounge, and it's been decided that a nominations thread isn't a good idea.

I am just happy that now we have more chances to gain popularity and respect.
Adleast its something other that fighting for the weeks #1 place.
Something tells me that soon AP will be given more attention !

They are chosen manually, so yes. The song that Denvish picked out of my stuff is the first song I ever made. Have I improved? haha.

I'm just glad to hear/see Audio Artist getting some recongintion. But I would like to see a Archive Page that has links of all audios previously featured on the front page. Something to consider for the future.

Just a thought, wouldnt it bet better to show filesize instead of length? listeners don't normally mind how long somthing is.

Aside from the attention people get, I've gotten to the point where the front page doesn't really matter to me anymore. It took about six months to realize that. Congrats to all those that did make it^_^
