I was given the opportunity to see Jack Black in the new version of the classic 1930's epic "King Kong". In it, Jack Black plays Carl Denham, a man who introduces King Kong to the world! Jack Black gives off the role of a lifetime. Oscar Worthy! This movie is not to be missed! Bring your children, bring your parents! Jack Black's King Kong is a modern classic that will leave you astounded!

You would have thought people would call it 'Peter Jacksons King Kong', but whatever...

I haven't seen it yet, but Jack Black is awsome. A friend who saw the movie said he was serious the whole time, which is weird because it's Jack Black. :O

But damnit, I want more Tenacious D! >.<

Not exactly oscar worthy but well done nonetheless. He fit the role almost perfectly. The tribal people though, there's acting...

I thought the same thing while in the theatre. Though, Carl Denham isn't the most comical role, but Jack does it well. I suggest seeing this movie only in the cinema. At home... just not gonna work.

Newgrounds is probably the most gayest thing I ever heard of.

Well I thought some of the action sequences were amazingly done by CGI. For example the chase sequence was epic and then all the giant insects-got me crawling.

The movie was un original. It was a remake! Aside from the astouding special effects and long, drawn out battle sequences like every other fucking peter jackson movie, this was not that different from the original, and people are hailing it as the freshest thing to come out of Holly wood.

And jack black, sucked, SO bad. I mean, yeah, he was okay, but I just couldn't shake the feeling that his was gonna bust out some tenacious D song or some shit like that. He just can't play that kind of role, it's not in his capacity.

I gave my list of reasons to watch King Kong already. Best movie of the year. It's funny, I just got done watching the entire extended edition Lord of the Rings Trilogy. Around 12 hours of wonderful film. I need to use the next two or three days just to watch all the special features (which is around 18 hours).

It was pretty average I thought, it needed more jokes and what not in it. The highlight for me was the quote "Will there be boobies" made by an investor about Carl Denhams film. I guess remakes are never that good though since you already know the entire plot.
