Saying a soul mate assumes there will be a soul mate out there for someone.
If you can't meet them through these websites, then you assume there is some sort of special condition which you can meet this amazing person.

You never know who you can meet and where... it takes 2 people to make a relationship work.

Something funny about dating sites is that 2/3 of the people that get married on internet dating sites and get autistic kids. See most computer designers or coders have actualy mild autism- that explains there low social skills and ability to work in the office to unholy hours of the night. Well when these people give up on finding a "soulmate" in the real world they look to the internet. The problem with this is everyone usualy goes for the person of the opposite sex who is exactly like them. Chances are a computer "geek" goes with another "geek." Both are midly autisitic, and when they have kids, they have fullblown autistic kids.
