Bret. Even if it's a girl. And if there are more than one, they simply get a 't' added onto the end. They will indentify which one I am refering too by learning to recognise the delay before the 't' sound and, in doing so, will obtain excellent aural skills, keeping them away from shitty bands.

Despite my total lack of enthusiasm towards procreation I'll play along. If I had to have a kid I would probably go with a name that isn't widely used, but still mainstream enough that he/she wouldn't get picked on.

Boy- I might go the egotistical route and give him my name. Jerry Jr. has a sort of ring to it. I might also go with Claude or Lance if I feel like giving him a "fancy" name. Or I might go with something like Theo or Bart if I wanted to scar him by naming him after a character from a TV show.

Girl- Jessica, yes it's bot very original, but I still like it, Trisha's not a bad choice either.
