That sucks, plus, now I need an even bigger sig than before, it's like it shrunk or something. On top of that ortal Guard is now out of order thanks to this redesign so I have to kick it old school and actually check every now and then, when I go back to mom's all this is going to over load the dial up over there and I'll be forced to become inactive and I may not even be able to load a page even because of all the new content which now even wieghs down the fastest comp (in the house) with the best connection in my county... :'(

That's ok because mine's not animated. It just uses screenshots from the blam/protect videos. I would post a picture of my old sig, but it's not working, even in Firefox. It says "wait for the image to finish uploading" but it's done. Oh well, another bug to report to Bob.

To Andrea: I've actually checked the programming of this site, and it should be faster than the old version since it's all in CSS which loads insanely fast (literally, insanely). You are just experiencing the remaining bugs in the system, but by the time you leave, it should be fast again.

Well, 25- kbps is not going to load anything quickly ever, so even though the bugs are being ironed out I still may have very bad problems with speed. Now since I'm at Dad's I don't have a serious speed problem, but no doubt it's there.

I was in this HQ before the redesign. I got demoted to NG safety and just recently got back up to Portal Security. I'm already halfway to Police ociffer.. May I be reinstated? :D

I was a Elite Guard Private First Class back then. Hey everybody! Well i am feeling better today so that is a good thing. So how is everybody doing around here today?

I don't see why that everybody thinks that they've lost progress in the redesign. Sure, you have a different badge now that would have been lower with the old system, but everything has changed now, so a Sergeant is now worth more than it was before. I personally couldn't care less that my rank is different. I also don't see why that the EG should go into limbo because of the name thing. It's still the same thing, just the entry level B/P's are higher.

If anything, I think that the new spacing between ranks is better and gives more worth to a promotion.

This place seems pretty quiet lately- what's going on?

Actully it has been fairly active compared to my time in here.

People need to realize that, while lower-level users may have dropped some levels, it will still be a lot faster to reach higher levels. For example, level 10 requires only 900 EXP now; even if you dropped several levels, it'll be faster to reach it than before.

And, of course, better a decade to the final level than never (as was under the previous system).

Don't worry about the EGB; we got it handled. The name is irrelevant; we are still TEH ELITE GUARD! :-D

Yeah i actually went up 5 lvls in exp due to the redesign but that is a very good thing. And yeah i also noticed that b/p wise as well they are not that far apart. And before the re-design the higher lvls of exp took like 3k points or so to reach the next lvl now it only takes 1k even for the highest lvls. And why's weird about it is that even Pimp hasent reached the highest lvl exp wise.

I went up four levels and it says I have the same amount of exp every day, so I don't hink my points are getting auto deposited as promised. Though the redesign is sleek, it has a few drawbacks... I too was suprised when I saw that Pimp still had'nt enough to have reached level 60 even after all this time. *sigh* If he hasn't by next year then nobody ever will most likely.

It was designed so there would be no level 60 users at the start, to make things more fair.

It will take Pimp 3 years, 16 days to reach level 60 if he deposits every day. From 0 EXP, it would take 10 years, 6 months, 29 days.

Nope. The level curve will not re-start, even when/if Pimp or someone else one day reaches level 60; the levels are now permanently static.

I have also became a post whore ever since the new redesign has came out. The redesign has triggered something in me to post this much. I like the way the forums looks, the levels, etc. The forums look better then ever in my opinion. :)
