The redesign kicks ass but, my god, i got demoted 2 ranks man! Kind of annoying, but i see that its happening for most people.

Well, as I said in the Barracks, you're welcome to do whatever you want. Since you were in the Elite Guard and joined pre-design, you're entitled to your membership.

Good point, but I doubt we'll be changing the name or starting another topic. Note that they don't specify a new name for the ranks, just the ranks themselves. It could be implied that they are still the "Elite Guard," but that might be a question to bother Wade with on PalTalk. :-)

As far as the NGPD goes, how are you taking the change? Are members getting kicked out or can you stay if you were a member pre-design? I know Tails will probably be happy that he can stay in the NGPD for another 1,000 B/P or so!

I'd like to welcome Cole, TheBlueNeck, Nick2292, and ILC back into the force! It's pleasure to have you all back with us again, and since we know you're all swell guys, the apprenticeship is not necessary.

To those who have been taken below security guard, I will keep you in the NGPD HQ all for the sake of fairness. However, for now, I will keep the minimum bar at SG (which is now 400 b/p) for the future recruits. 200 b/p points seemed a bit small to me anyways. If I get too many complaints, then I'll change it to safety patrol.
As for the Member List update, we have TheBlueNeck as our first volunteer. Anyone else interested can either PM me or notify me here.

You'll need to improve your overall posting, because a good BBS history is part of our requirements. Try making your average posts longer than 1 line by putting more thought into them. Also, try to avoid single worded posts like WTF, FTW, etc.

There have definitely been some issues that have sprung up as a result of the redesign, but hopefully we'll get everything regulated in time. All the members who have gone down will neither be forced to leave nor be requested to do so. I think I'll have to extend my life in the NGPD, I really want to get an honorable discharge. After all, I must set a good example b/p wise!

Can I get another chance at the apprenticeship week, last time when I had it I didn't feel my rank was high enough or that I had good posts. I worked on that only to be demoted. Oh well. But I worked on all aspects of what you guys ask of and I'm just seeing if i could get a shot. If not, it's cool.

I know what you mean lol! Before, I could be all bossy and go on rants. I could yell at people if I wanted. I actually felt like I was someone important and not just another semi-user lol.

So I can see. Well, at least you'll be at the helm of the NGPD for a while. Whenever you rejoin the "Elite Guard" (if it can still be called that...), I'll make sure to prepare a bunk for you in the Barracks.

It seems that I've been out for almost 8 months, but my calculations. In fact, once I left the force, I basically just left the forums completely. Anything interesting happen while I was gone? Is my successor doing on adequate job?

I'd say hes doing a great job. We did seem to be a little more off line a bit before the redesign which sucks but oh well. Whatever :D. Hes doing cool as and is a great mentor (but he doesnt know that) lol.

You know, I realized something funny just now. I started out in the NGPD as a Sergeant and now as I'm approaching the scheduled end of my membership I wind up all the way back to square one. Talk about irony.

Haha, that's pretty funny. I'm back down to sergeant as well.

If anyone wants a survival/hunting knife look for sword demon on amazon.com. I know it sounds random but I just got my order of a survival knife for 20 bucks and it was a great deal. 10 inches of steel with a nice serrated saw back. Came with a leather sheath and all. I go camping a lot so I needed a new knife. So yeah check it out if that interests you.

You might as well find me a replacement until mid August because I will end up typing an entire paragraph on these forums and walk away for a few minutes and come back and the computer is still processing the words into the forum box!!!! My laptop is too old ><

I think you should just try rebooting it. Worked for me.

Does anyone know if the blam/protect/whistle videos have changed since the redesign? I want to redo my sig.

I know what you mean...this is just temporary though. Like Tom said, once everything gets evenly distributed on the servers it'll run even faster than the old Newgrounds...you just have to give it some time to settle. It's already speeded up for me a ton since the first day.

I turn my laptop off every night and evey day i go to use it, the typing is the same. I was hoping it would get better but no luck so far.
