Gah, didn't tails already say that there is an art constest? I haven't checked out the site yet, but I reccomend that you guys visit on a regular basis to check out if there is anything new.

I'm just one away from being a captain now. I hope that I can be an elite guard private soon; more than likely at the end of March or in early April.

About that contest, er... It's a good idea but, I think we should wait and do some planning or something before we ''launch'' it out into the open.

What planning do you need to do? Tails and Bran will be keeping track of stats, and they'll make up the prizes for the top 3 competitors and maybe a consolation prize for those who get over a certain about of points. It's very simple

It will run for a week, and when we decide everything else, then we'll set a date. But keep the prizes for the end of the week, not every day. And Bran, I was just suggesting prizes. There doesn't have to be any

I Think forcing Bran and tails to moderate the contest is a little much. They didn't even volunteer for it. We should have on brave soul to control it who actually wants to moderate it

I'm not, unless it's in April, during or after Clock Day. I'm now 80 B/P away from Elite Guard, and want to, as I've said so many times before, level up on that infamous day of spam

We are following through with a contest right now but it is not b/p. I repeat this contest is not about b/p! It's an art contest. Go see our forum for details(if you don't know where that is then check our site for the link).

When we do a b/p contest, it will most definitely not be decided by the user's total because that's extremely unfair for those who are higher ranks. Can't we use the NG Log for this kind of stuff? As for an alternative method, we'll keep track of how much points they have at the beginning and how much they finish with. Then, with a little math, we'll get the total earned b/p during the contest. Simple, yes?

Thats what I was thinking of you doing as being the only really fair way to determine a winner or not. If you need any help with this then let me know as I am very quick with math and with that being extremely easy math, I could have the results for you in no time.

Yarg! I wish I actually had some artistic abilty and could draw, but unfortunately all I can do is edit pics pretty well and use most of my abilities into writing. Plus there's that and Tails already knows about a friend of mine that could draw, and even if I did something real astounding myself and submitted it, he'd have to question if it was me or her that originally drew it. XD

Until then, I'll just be waiting for more profiles to write my little epic for enjoyment. Already had one profile yesterday when I looked, and today I haven't yet, so I'm gonna go check that in a bit to see what's up. Might be a time inbetween where I'm gonna lay down though, cause I'm feeling pretty bad at the moment... XD

So as we all know on clock day most things clock related pass for that day. But then are deleted by an Admin one day later. So do we get Save points for all of them or should one just do a constant 0 that day? This is just for stat whoring because either way the shit gets of NG. I just want to be rewarded for it

The majority, if not all of it, will past that day. If all you are intrested in is points then vote five on all and watch the point rack up. Unlike people who only care about points though, I vote fairly on all submissions, weather or not I think they will past. I know it isn't the best way to get points but if I feel strongly against something then I will give it a 0, that way even if it does get through then it makes me feel better that I actually tried to prevent it from getting in.

See Dark-Lotus I agree with you on your voting methods but clock day is the one exception because most crap that day will be deleted anyway. I dont think I have ever gotten a save point from such crap entries as anything by the KK or the star syndicate. Admins delete crap anyway on clockday so no worries

You have a point but it doesn't change my voting methods. I know that day is an exception for many but its not for me. Its fine if it is for you or whomever else but I'm sticking to my voting methods no matter what.

Lockout, here at the PD, we vote fairly on all flashes, or what you think the submission should get. B/Ping isn't about stats; it's about experienced members trying make NG look good through good flashes. You have the mentality of most of NG. Because it's a Clock or Lock or whatever, you "know" that's it's going to pass. But if you gave it a 0 or 1, or whatever it deserved, and everybody does that, then the movie won't pass. Don't go for the points; do what's right for Newgrounds.

Not rly. There are a lot of haters out there, and a lot of really crappy artists thinking that they can get a save on their horrible flash cuz it's clock day. So there are plently of saves and blams on clock day.
