Good news everyone! I've decided to form a pact between us and the Newground's Department of Defense. I've discussed the topic beforehand via PM with dave and he seemed interested with this agreement. I've been told to post the offer on their thread. Now all we have to do is wait to see their response. Who knows? We might have another ally XD

I'm a little confused how something like the turd of the week (Mario Kombat) isnt deleted off the site. I mean the thing has a below 1 score. When I made a flash with the trial, mine got blammed with a higher rating than that!

That is great and all Tails, but what does this do besides give us another aquantance on the BBS?

When I was a total newbie at flash, I made a one-frame flash for the rush for the 300000th submission...got blammed with a 0.01 :-(

I have never seen a flash get lower than that. Of course, during the big rush for 300K, the entire UJ line was filled, so people probably just speed-blammed everything.

If the movie passed, the score doesn't matter. It stays in the portal forever until an admin or the author decides to delete it. It may have pass judgement, but just barely. It doesn't matter anyways, in a week no one will see it again. That's the beauty of the portal, it's so massive that crap movies are eventually lost in the vast expanse of the portal.

I had to explain the same thing to dave. See, with this alliance, we have an agreement to assist each other when needed. Basically what I said earlier, we're allies. Just like the EGB, they're considered friends now :D

I'm sure that it had a higher score than that when it passed through the portal but since it got turd of the week, people have been lowering it's score.

People should really put more effort into their submissions. I know its difficult, but you have to put your all into it. I know when I get flash, I'm gonna work very hard on every submission.

Quite possible, plus with improved voting power, it doesn't take much to just get it passed. But as was said before, if it really is no good, it'll disapear.

Many of our own members are a part of the mafia. I myself am considering joining. It's a little strange but they were founded to keep the peace in newgrounds so they actually share many of our interests.

I know, I was just joking around.

But waht does the mafia do anyways? I mean the only activity I've had with them was settling a conflict between my old club (Starcraft club) and them. They're really nice there, but once I stopped in and everyone was yelling at eachother and all pissed off.

From what I've seen it seems like they just write storys about the mafia. The only reason that I have not joined yet is because I'm not sure that I could write an original mob story.

I assure you Sekhmet, that is not all they do. It is just an activity they have had going for a while, I doubt it is permenant. Usually they just use the place a lot like you would use the general forum, very rarely do they actually talk about the Mafia.

Well, no harm can come from an allience (as far as I know... dun dun duh). I mean, I'm sure I we need anyone, uh, put to bed, they could oblige...
Mafia chliches aside, I'm sure they're an awesome group.

My fellow officers today a tragic thing happaened to one of our life's contents....
Steve Irwin the crocodile hunter who always said CRIKEY! on animal planet, discovery channel has died from a stingray.
We will never forget him as naver, yahoo, CNN, and etc sites will have information on his death, and right now the General forum has 1 topic about steve dead....Right now they are also putting links in their sigs.....

I suggest that this day in the NGPD will be Steve Irwin day.
His wife and 2 children has been informed of his death...
May he rest in peace...

Well, I actually learned of SI's death outside of the internet from my mom when she was watching the news. But yeah, look out guys, there is a chance for some blamming out there. Everyone thinks that they can submit a crappy SI tribute and because everyone is so sad, they will give it a five. Well, not me! A flash isnt all about pictures of a dead man with some sad words, we need animation and good sound.

We dont want the croc hunter to be remembered with some crappy flash do we?
