I agree with the reviews without having to put a score on. No one really takes note of those scores. A graveyard search is a good idea. And 'movies by this author' should have all blammed ones, coloured differently too so you can tell what is still there and what is blammed. These upgrades are really awesome! I'm looking forward to seeing what you guys do next.

Another concern by users was that when a movie was deleted (BLAMMED), its reviews are lost. This has always been an issue, but it was moreso a problem now because we hide the reviews for the first 100 votes. If a movie was deleted, there was no opportunity whatsoever to see the reviews and critiques.
To address this, we have created eulogies. Now when you try to access a game or movie that has been deleted, instead of the standard error message ("no movie with that ID exists"), you will see the eulogy. This is a fun page that immortalizes the reviews from when the movie was still viewable on NG.
My movie got blammed before I had a chance to reply to the reviews, is there anyway of replying after its been blammed??

Obituaries and eulogies. What a clever idea :)
But why would you want to write reviews for a movie that's already been blammed?

When someone reviews your movie you can write something back them them. When your movies been blammed you cant write back. I WANT TO.

2 questions.....1 Can there be a serch engine there as well because i have no idea when all my bad movies were blammed or even whta date they were sent in....that would be cool
2 If you review a movie and the movie dies does that count towards your review count in your profile?

Yeah, that's a good idea.
You should also have the blammed movies contribute to the author's rating. This'll prevent idiots from resubmitting crappy movies over and over and over again...

Maybe you're willing to pay $10 a month for this site to be pop-up free but, as much as I love newgrounds, I'm not. I don't mind the pop-ups, as long as they keep the site free. As for the obituary, eulogies, and "under judgement" rating system... love em all. keep improving the site.

All pretty good things. My idea was of course to take the reviews and mail them to the author if their movie/game was blammed, but if you guys don't mind the bandwidth hehe. This is actually better.

I was thinking it would be really really good if you add a search engine to the euligies. It's kinda hard to find a movie if you don't really remember when it got blamed. So a search engine will be great for it :).

I hate to say it, but this idea is pointless, who wants to read reviews of a blammed movie? Just E-mail the reviews to the author, this idea sucks. :(

Yeah, this is a pretty good idea - this way, the users could see what the crappy movies got, why they got BLAMMED, and the funny comments the viewers wrote to blam the movies. Also, I really got pissed before when the reviews I've taken a long time to write got deleted, because the movies got blammed, leaving me only with the reviews for the good ones.
Also, it's also pretty good that users can access their reviews and check for replies from the log-in member menu. This makes things more convenient.
Suggestion: old under-judgement movies should be shown in portal again, maybe in another section to give users a chance to clean up (protect/blam) what was missed before - to encourage users to take out the crap and reward the good movies, and also to free up space in N.G.'s server.

To address this, we have created eulogies. Now when you try to access a game or movie that has been deleted, instead of the standard error message ("no movie with that ID exists"), you will see the eulogy. This is a fun page that immortalizes the reviews from when the movie was still viewable on NG.
This is helpful to authors and encouraging to NG users who don't want their reviews to be wasted. If you review a bad movie, your review can live on in infamy for all to see. We are hoping to see more creative and humorous reviews as a result of this system. Please continue to be fair, however. We will still whipe out your account if you abuse the system.
We found the eulogies to be so much fun that we decided everyone should be able to find them with ease. If you visit the Portal, below "Turd of the Week" you will now find a link to the Obituaries page! This page maintains a current list of every submission that was BLAMMED on any given day, as well as an archive of all eulogies on record (going back a whole year)! We sorta planned ahead for this type of thing. :)
At first, I believed the "graveyard" was a large waste of NG's resources, since only the author could benefit from the reviews of a blammed submission.
Well, with your explanation, you've sold me ... for now. Sure, everyone expects lame movies get lame reviews, but your plan is to change that. So I'd like sit back and watch it happen.
My question is: How am I supposed to understand or enjoy a review on a submission which I have never, and will never, get to see? How many are willing to leave great quips of wit and humour for something worthy of being blammed? Especially when the jokes, which if related to the blammed work, will only be understood by the viewers?
I almost always trust your decisions for this site ... but I'm just skeptic about this particular addition to Newgrounds. How long is the trial period for the Graveyard, if any?

Tom, that is the best idea I've heard in a while. I hate when I go to the trouble of writing a helpful, but funny review of a horrible movie, just to have it deleted when it gets blammed. I hope it works, the best reviews are always of the crappiest movies!
MMmmmm.obituaries,Eulogis.But created ride must go,and will be resume .well i dont still get it!fuck with me...

Hmm I have to agree with you. I for one know that I could care less as to what people said about some blammed movie. Most of the time, the movie was crap, and that is why it was blammed. Why would anyone other than the author of the movie, or maybe the one hundred people who knew it was crap and voted 0 on it, want to read their reviews? Unless you have too much time on your hands, I think the Graveyard is pointless. Sure, it's cool in theory, but it really serves no good purpose. Just save use some more space on NG's, and send the "obituaries" to the author via email.
